Continuity mistake: During the heist, a police officer fires eight shots from a revolver which only holds six bullets, and he doesn't reload.
Continuity mistake: When J-Bone is coming down from Heaven, the lift he's on stops quite a way off the ground, and moves when he steps off it. Yet when he, Johnny and Jade step onto the lift, it seems to be on the ground as it doesn't move. It couldn't have been lowered, as we would've heard the noise of the motors.
Continuity mistake: Chris O'Donnell and Drew Barrymore are leaving the small town of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, and they show the outskirts of the town as White Sands, when actually White Sands, New Mexico is about 2 hours away.
Continuity mistake: When Jimmy The Saint brings the cop to the "Man With The Plan" he starts yelling and one of the henchman raises his hand to Jimmy to stay calm and then he puts his hand down. The camera angle changes to a shot from the back and the henchman still has his hand up and Jimmy is saying his next line.
Continuity mistake: As Holly and Abe kiss through the cell bars, Abe goes from crouched, to straight-backed to crouched again.
Continuity mistake: When the Colonel finishes talking to the General on the phone, he practically throws the phone into the army truck out of frustration. In the following shot, you can see the soldier in the truck with the phone in hand, as if it was calmly given to him, even as you hear the end of the "clunk" from when it was thrown. (00:52:50)
Continuity mistake: Charlegrande stabs von Trotta in his right eye, but in all later scenes it is the left eye that's missing.
Continuity mistake: When Po is killed by the NVA it is the middle of the night, Captains Cahill and Doyle are close enough to the village to hear the shots and rush back to the village but as they enter the village it is early dawn.
Continuity mistake: There are four appearances of an "agent equipped PDA" which is flipped open like an "original" Star Trek communicator, however the director of Burkett Industries persists in holding his PDA upside-down.
Continuity mistake: Nearing the final battle, the crew is ordered to weigh anchor. The shots switch back and forth from the anchor being raised, to overhead shots of the windlass. The rope is actually being played out (lowered) on the windlass, while the anchor is supposedly being hoisted.
Continuity mistake: When the woman is on Mariner's boat, you can see that her dress strap is on her arm, but when the camera goes back to him and then back to her it is on her shoulder.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ted is talking on the phone with Margaret, the video game that Margaret's friends are playing changes from the Nintendo version of Rambo, to the Sega Genesis version of Rambo 3, in the span of a few seconds.
Continuity mistake: In the opening football scene, when Angus makes a tackle, the football clearly falls to the ground. In the next shot, however, it is seen soaring through the air.
Continuity mistake: Becker is the last to go through the hatch into the NEB bunker, but when the camera switches to the view inside the bunker, Becker is seen already on the walkway while the others are still climbing down the ladder.

Continuity mistake: When Sister Helen is being pulled over for speeding, in the view through the rear view mirror, the cop car behind her is driving on the left side of the road, with the police officer driving in the right front seat, on a straight road with a solid center line. In the next shot, both cars are on the right side of the road, with the police officer sitting in the left front seat, on a curvy road with a dashed center line.
Continuity mistake: When JC is in the car with his friends, he says Chloe has no money and between shots his collar jumps from under to over the seat belt.
Continuity mistake: Glen Holland owns a Chevy Corvair throughout the film. The car at the beginning of the film is a 1961 model 500 (the base model with bench seats), but at the end of the film it is a 1964 Monza (the top of the line model, with bucket seats).
