Continuity mistake: After 70 days in the Andes, Nando has not grown a beard. Two days later, when they come with the choppers, he's managed to grow quite a nice one.
Suggested correction: It's possible that Nando continued shaving (offscreen) while they were living at the plane, but gave it up (or left his razor behind) during the trek out of the mountains. In real life, some of the survivors did shave while in the mountains.
Revealing mistake: Near the beginning of the film, an axe is thrown at a priest. The axe should rotate as it travels, because the head is heavier than the handle. But it hangs upright as if drawn by a wire.
Revealing mistake: When Michelle is binding Topper's hands to the bed you can see the cloth hiding her breasts. (00:30:30)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Maggie goes to the restaurant with Bob, he offers her the case where the weapon is. Bob says, 'It's loaded'. Close inspection shows the clip chamber is empty (not loaded), and a cartridge clip is positioned beside the weapon in its tailored slot in the custom case. Maggie closes the case and says, 'I don't understand.' After Bob explains what she is to do, then leaves, Maggie opens the case again and suddenly there's a clip in the weapon (loaded) and another one beside it. The weapon was not loaded when she looked the first time.
Plot hole: A nuclear armed stealth fighter is accidentally sent back in time to 1940's Nazi Germany. After the Nazis capture it, two days later they drop a nuclear bomb on the United States. There are several basic problems here. Firstly, if the Nazis captured advanced technology, wouldn't they spend more time taking the plane apart and interrogating the captured pilot? How on earth did they manage to train a pilot to fly the stealth in such a short length of time? And how did the stealth fighter manage to reach the U.S. from Germany when in-flight refuelling was unknown then?
Continuity mistake: When Joe, the Heisman candidate quarterback, jumps his Harley off of a dirt cliff, one camera angle is from below as the bike is in the air. The angle clearly shows the bike is different from the Harley he started and finished with. Most noticeable is the fact that the tyres on the stunt bike are knobby enduro tyres, but later when the bike is stopped, you can see the smooth street tyres are back again.
Visible crew/equipment: When Emilio and Sam arrive at the "Squealer's Motel" and get out of the car, the camera man and sound man are visible in the window behind them as they walk towards the group of police.
Revealing mistake: At the end of the movie with Matt Cordell (Maniac Cop) chasing after the detective in a police car while being set on fire, you can see the safety goggles under his mask in several of the changing shots in this stunt scene.
Factual error: During the scene where Bruce leaves his girlfriend's parents home, it's raining. He leaves in a huff on his motorcycle and you can clearly hear the sound of screeching rubber on the pavement. Peeling out and making this sound would not have been possible in a rainstorm.
Audio problem: In the scene where Louis is giving Shay a one-on-one training session, listen carefully from when Mr. Kerrigan walks in. Turn up the volume if you have to. You can hear one of the crew members shout "Hey Mark", referring to Mark Dacascos.
Continuity mistake: When 'Bill Jenkins' is being surrounded by the Yakuza cars in the desert, one of the cars casts a large shadow underneath him that wasn't there in the previous shot. The grass around his feet also changes. (00:57:30)
Continuity mistake: After Bruce proposes to Andrea and he drops her off at home, she is wearing the ring on her left hand when she is inside his car. But once she steps out of it, the ring completely disappears.
Continuity mistake: At one part in the movie Christopher Lambert points a revolver at a gun dealer. When they cut back he is pointing a semi-automatic pistol. This is done three times.
Continuity mistake: There is a scene where Kim Basinger's character has been paroled from prison and is taking a train from the Athens, GA to Atlanta, GA. First there is no commuter train from Athens to Atlanta and clearly this scene was shot inside a MARTA train, Atlanta's local transit system.
Continuity mistake: During the final fight between Jean-Claude and the bad guy, they are both holding onto a shotgun. Initially the barrel of the gun is in J-C's left hand. But without either of them letting go of the gun, suddenly the gun switches end-for-end and the stock of the gun is in J-C's left hand. It looks like they probably re-filmed the last of the fight so the bad guy could use his right hand to hit J-C with the butt-end of the gun.
Visible crew/equipment: When Rosie O'Donnell's dog is chasing the neighbor's cat, it it very clear there is a stuffed cat attached to the camera to lure the dog to follow.
Continuity mistake: During her character's escape/fight scene, Melissa Moore runs into a room full of bad guys with an unbuttoned shirt, but when she enters the room, her shirt is buttoned up for a moment before becoming unbuttoned again for the rest of the fight. (01:14:44)
Revealing mistake: Right before Alex and Tommy are about to leave for their date, Walter is playing Tetris. When he puts down the control to come talk to them in the kitchen, the game keeps playing and you can see the pieces moving and turning.
Revealing mistake: When Michelle Yeoh is about to hit the basket on the fire truck you can see her safety wire.
Continuity mistake: When Susan defeats Delores Hernandez in their karate championship match, she's lying on the mat, head turned to her right. A quick shot of one of the judge and suddenly Hernandez's head is turned to her left.
