Continuity mistake: During the infamous leg un-crossing scene when Sharon Stone is being interrogated, a cigarette in her hand disappears and then reappears.
Continuity mistake: The first time Helen is at Cabrini Green and she goes through the medicine cabinet into the other apartment she has to actually crawl through the small opening in the wall where the medicine cabinet is, but when she goes back at the end to find the baby the hole in the wall has grown considerably, she just crouches and walks right through.
Suggested correction: The hole became bigger because the Candyman is there now. Do you expect him to crawl?
I don't expect him to have to go through the opening at all since he is the Candyman. He can get into places without walking through a physical opening.
Continuity mistake: During the trial at the end, Jessup struggles with the MPs to get to Danny Kaffee. After the struggle, his tie is all out of place. In the following close-up shots, it's re-aligned, before becoming completely askew as Jessup goes to retrieve his hat.
Continuity mistake: When Whistler is driving the van, he hits the two cars and knocks out the driver's side headlight, yet right after this and through the rest of the film, the headlight works properly. (01:51:25)
Continuity mistake: Betty Lou is in the grocery store at the checkout. The cashier rings through her groceries which consists of a roast, veggies, flowers, dog food and a bunch of other things (she was shopping for her anniversary dinner), but she only leaves the store with the flowers.
Continuity mistake: The beginning scene involves two kids in the finals of the school championships. Why are there only adults watching? In a children's tournament all the other kids would most definitely be watching this game.
Continuity mistake: When Levoi and Crowhorse visit Grandpa for the first time note the white and black beaded belt on the table behind Grandpa. In the beginning it hangs at the edge just at the first black stripe. Just after Grandpa trades Levoi for his glasses and hands him the rock, the belt now hangs nearly to the second black stripe. Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie when Dr. Giggles house blows up, Jennifer and her boyfriend fall to the ground twice.
Continuity mistake: When Chet and Stanley asks Irene some questions (in the café, about 15 minutes into the movie) about the murder, the cigarette Irene smokes changes a few times between the shots. Most obvious is the length of the ashes. (00:16:13)
