Corrected entry: During the "Two for a Penny" sequence in Carrying the Banner, you can see Crutchy dancing in one of the back rows on the right without his crutch. You can also see him walking without it behind David during the first Sieze the Day when David sings "Arise and seize the day!"
Corrected entry: At the end when one of the Hawks cross-checks Adam Banks from behind. He only receives a two minute penalty. The player should have received a five-minute major and game misconduct, or a match, because an injury resulted from the play.
Correction: Goal was scored on the play. So there wouldn't be a penalty.
Corrected entry: It doesn't make any sense that Portman places a bomb in the boat as his only target Rachel was the least likely to take a round on the wintry lake.
Correction: He put the bomb in the boat to hurt Fletcher, as this would hurt Rachel.
Correction: I actually believe the bomb was intended to kill Frank so that Rachel would be an easier target. There is a scene of Frank teaching Fletcher how to use the boat. Portman probably assumed that Frank would take Fletcher out on a ride.
Corrected entry: At one point, Pinhead pulls nails from his head. These nails not only miraculously grow back, but are much longer than the ones we saw hammered in at the beginning of the second Hellraiser.
Correction: Given Pinhead is a supernatural demonic entity with incredible powers is it really that hard to imagine he can alter the length and/or regrow the pins in his head when he feels it neccessary?
Corrected entry: When Tupac Shakur runs up to the spanish gang member and shoots him in the chest, he falls backwards. When we see Tupac walking away, the shot man is lying as if he fell foward.
Correction: As the guy falls from getting shot, you can see his body starting to turn around. He is heading to the ground face down.
Corrected entry: It is established that Nat is 10 years old. In the scene where Claire is patching up Daniel, Nat carries in a Boy Scout book. Boy Scouts are all 12 and older. Nat should be a Cub Scout. (00:46:30)
Correction: You can check these books out at the library. There is no reason why he cannot have this book, especially since we see him at the library anyways.
Corrected entry: When Jack gets on the plane with the Flying Elvis', it's obviously a last minute thing. How does the announcer know what his name is when they're jumping and being announced at Bally's as they're landing?
Correction: The flight lasted for at least an hour. That was plenty of time for them to call ahead and give them Jack's name.
Corrected entry: In the scene where the vampire girl first meets the mob boss she says that she is lost and can't find the subway. The film is set in Pittsburgh which has no subway system.
Correction: There actually is a subway in downtown Pittsburgh. It may only have three stops, but it's really there. See the following link (http://www.portauthority.org/ride/pgT.asp).
Corrected entry: The ME 109 is actually a P-51A Mustang.
Correction: That was a BF-109. The cockpit was too far forward and wings too long. Also the tail configuration is wrong for a mustang.
Corrected entry: In the scene where the older lady has let her little poodle dog inside you can see that it's daylight out. However, she was getting ready for bed.
Correction: I don't see why a person going to bed when they are tired, even if it is daytime, can be a movie mistake. A lot of people take a nap every once in a while.
Corrected entry: Army of Darkness is called "Captain Supermarket" in France.
Correction: That's simply not true. I'm French and huge fan of the Evil Dead trilogy and Bruce Campbell. In France, Army of Darkness is "L'Armee des tenebres" which has the same meaning.
Corrected entry: When Linda Voss meets Ed Leland at a party of the US Army six months after the war began, they are dancing to the song "I'll be Seeing You". This beautiful song was recorded in Feb 17, 1944. It entered the charts two months later, where it stayed for 24 weeks, topping the charts for 4 weeks. They were dancing to a song 2 years before it was recorded.
Correction: The song was published in 1938, and was popular during WW2.
Corrected entry: After Clemen's death, there is a shot of the ventilation shaft into which he was dragged by the alien. However, the shaft seen is the one in which Andrew's is taken into by the alien later. You can tell the difference because of the ceiling colour and the design of the ventilation shaft.
Correction: Not so. The opening in the infirmary is octagonal every time it's seen, while the opening in the cafeteria is rectangular with rounded corners, much like a TV screen.
Corrected entry: During the withdrawal from Fort Henry, virtually the entire column of Redcoats and civilians, including Colonel Munro, are wiped out by the Indians. In reality, the Indians only attacked the rear of the column, which was mainly comprised of civilians, killing between 70 to 180 people. The majority of the British force was not even attacked and the real Colonel Munro survived.
Correction: The filmmakers do not claim that this film is historically accurate, hence no factual error.
Corrected entry: Doug and Kate's first meeting, very early in the film, is when they run into each other in the hallway of an ice arena - supposedly she's running off, leaving the rink where she was just practicing, while he's running towards the rink where his game is. Thing is, in reality they wouldn't have both been in that building at that time. Hockey (Doug's event) and figure skating (Kate's event) were given totally separate buildings.
Correction: They weren't practicing at the Olympic venues. In my town figure skating and hockey are done in the same facility.
Corrected entry: A package Robert Redford has behind his back when he goes to the piano school disappears.
Correction: We don't see him put the package on the piano that Liz's student is playing. In later shots, you can see the package on the piano.
Corrected entry: While seated in a booth, Brad Pitt, Craig Sheffer and Emily Lloyd take turns imitating movie stars Humphrey Bogart and James Cagney even though the film takes place during the 1920's, when silent films were the norm and years before either Bogart or Cagney were to make their screen debuts.
Correction: The film actually depicts three different time periods, spanning over two decades. The scene in which Emily Lloyd and Brad Pitt are imitating Bogart and Cagney is supposed to take place around 1937, the third and last time period of the movie with the brothers together.
Corrected entry: When Carter follows his wife through the trees and stands behind a tree to watch her and her ex, the ex's coat is not hanging on the branch of the tree. But the the next time it pans to him, it magically appears.
Correction: In the first scene where we see his wife Jenny with Jack, we see Jack hang his trench-coat up. Then when actually see the coat hanging on the tree the first time Carter is behind the tree.
Corrected entry: When Jeff's mom is killed on the set, there are distinct burn marks on her face from the cage, but when she comes back, her face looks pretty smooth.
Correction: The burnt marks are covered with make-up from the morticians, when she's melting from the fire, you can see the marks return.
Corrected entry: SPOILER ! Heddy cleans the entire apartment to get rid of any evidence she lived there, such as fingerprints. But she didn't seem to care too much about eating and drinking in Sam's apartment right before she killed him.
Correction: I'd say this is more of a character mistake then a movie mistake, as Hedy didn't go to see him with the intention of killing him, only to trick him. She cleans the apartment and dyes her hair black after the murder so anyone with a description of Sam's visitor would describe Allie.
Correction: In "Two for a Penny," if you look closely you can tell that Crutchy does indeed have his crutch and is dancing with it. It's just hidden behind Jack and when David says "Arise and seize the day." Crutchy is walking WITH the crutch. Look closely otherwise you miss it.
