Other mistake: In the tanker truck/pick-up truck chase, after the tanker rams the pick-up and destroys the wooden shelter in the bed, you can see the Terminator turn the steering wheel right but the truck turns left instead. You have to look very closely to see this.
Other mistake: There is a patch on the jacket Harley (Rourke) wears, that appears and disappears throughout the movie. It's on the front lower right side. It is there when he's standing outside their friends' bar with Marlboro, it's gone when they are inside.
Other mistake: When Eve runs into the BMW from behind, the guy slams into his steering wheel. When you are hit from behind, you will slam backwards into your seat. It happens twice, the third time the airbag deploys and stays inflated (real airbags deflate in a second, they are not balloons).
Other mistake: When Sulu tells Kirk he is coming to help, he states the Excelsior is currently in the Alpha Quadrant. The problem is the the Alpha Quadrant in the Star Trek universe is one quarter of the total Milky Way Galaxy. While technically correct, Sulu giving his position as in the Alpha Quadrant is useless to Kirk in terms of knowing when to expect help. It doesn't matter where Khitomer is in the galaxy. Sulu saying he is in the Alpha Quadrant gives Kirk absolutely no idea of when he will arrive. He could be anywhere from 5 minutes away to 5 weeks away or even further. Remember, it was originally projected to take Voyager 70 years to go from the Delta Quadrant back to the Federation in the Alpha Quadrant.
Suggested correction: The implication is that Excelsior has only very recently crossed the border from the Beta Quadrant to the Alpha Quadrant.
Even if that "implication" were true (and there's nothing dialogue-wise to indicate such) it's still useless to Kirk as to when the expect help. The dividing line between the Alpha and Beta is fully half the width of the galaxy.
Sulu doesn't expect Kirk to deduce where the Excelsior is, he tells him directly that they're unlikely to make it in time, and the reason is that they are "now in Alpha Quadrant" i.e. they were previously not in the Alpha Quadrant, i.e. they're far enough away that recently they were in a whole other quadrant of the galaxy. (I agree it's an awkward line, but it makes sense if you think of it like "I'm now in the U.S." if it's known you already live there - it means you've just returned).
Other mistake: When the firefighter is fighting with the arsonist, the gas line is disconnected from the fireplace. Just before the dramatic explosion, the gas line ignites. This is incorrect because the fire would have started from the outlet to the gas (from ignition source to fuel source).
Other mistake: In the fight scene where Bohdi helps special agent Utah you see that his surf board gets broken in two and then after the fight he is seen leaving without the board, but in the scene where he and Tyler are woken up early to go surf right before Tyler says "you look like you just saw a ghost" you see him carrying the same board.
Other mistake: There is a scene where Joe is shown taking a bullet for then-President Carter. We then see Darian visiting Joe in the hospital after the shooting, holding a picture that she drew for him. Darian looks to be about 6 or 7 years old, yet this film takes place in 1991, Carter left office in 1981, and she is supposed to be 13 in the movie. If she was 6 or 7 when Carter was in office, she would be 16/17 by 1991. (01:02:55)
Other mistake: When Joe Huff goes to the fight pit and jumps in, he has on fingerless gloves. However, during the fight he is barehanded and when the shot returns to Joe Huff he has the gloves on again.
Other mistake: During the scene in which Chad and Alex are at the harbour to blow up the drugs shipment we see Alex being shot at my numerous bad guys. He has one pistol in his hand, and pulls another from his waist band. Each pistol carries around a maximum of 15 shots per clip, however he manages to fire 43 shots without reloading.
Other mistake: When the outlaws trap and rob a carriage in the forest, they put hooks on the back of it to keep it in place. But when the driver spurs the horses on faster, they run off, pulling the driver off the carriage and away behind them. There's no logical reason for this to happen, as you see the horses attached to the carriage, there is no evidence, either audio or visual, of the harnesses breaking, and in any event there really isn't enough force exerted for the harnesses to break to begin with.
Other mistake: During the fight scene in the TGRI building, when Michelangelo has the ooze and gets jumped for it and loses it, watch the bottom of the screen. Donatello is lying down and trying to get up. But in the next shot he's up and kicks out the ooze from the foot soldier. (00:26:35)
Other mistake: When the paperboy throws a newspaper at Hulk Hogan, and he throws it back, hits him and he falls off his bike into a bush. If you look closely, you can see him run into the bush, instead of being knocked into it.
Other mistake: When the police first arrive at the school, one of the terrorists appears to fire a .50 caliber machine gun at the front of the squad car, causing minimal damage. If that were true, the entire car would have been torn to shreads. I was in the US Army, and have fired the M2 .50 caliber machine gun. The rounds for one of these are big and heavy; they can shoot down aircraft, or destroy armor plated vehicles.
Other mistake: When Blake makes the tape of Styles and the prostitute, and uses it to discredit him, I doubt that Blake and his buddy had access to top notch equipment. Surely, experienced Los Angeles detectives would have a great technician on board who would be able to testify that the tape was fixed or modified, such as Styles's mouth movement.
Other mistake: Chucky cuts Andy's Achilles tendon from under his bed. Throughout the rest of the movie, Andy should have a limp from such a severe injury. However, he has no trouble walking or running in subsequent scenes, nor does he show any signs of injury.
Other mistake: The bus Frank is in crashes through a wall of items, at speed, but no visible damage is done to the front of the bus when we see it later. (00:55:05 - 00:55:40)
Other mistake: The sword champion is murdered in a dark room. Cut to Tarek Richards by his corpse. The room is still shrouded in darkness, which makes for a cool transition. However, when the camera pans out and someone (with an audible click) turns on the lights, you realise that the room is full of cops which up to that moment have been working in a dark room for no reason - and they have been doing things that require reading and writing, like collecting witness statements.
Other mistake: When Topper speaks to Ramada for the first time, we can see his name plate read "LT Sean Harley", whereas LT stands for Lieutenant, any army's lowest officer rank. The rank insignia on his collar, though, is that of a Captain (CPT). (00:19:19 - 00:20:09)
Suggested correction: Topper's not in the army, he's in the navy. He has the correct insignia for a naval lieutenant.
Other mistake: When Hai is speaking with Kuang just after stopping him from killing the bald inmate, Hai asks Kuang if he kills him, what do they say to the assistant warden. There is an error involving the English subtitles regarding Kuang's next line. Kuang's line, in the subtitles, is listed across two rows, but the rows are displayed in the wrong order. The first row reads "him, we won't take it anymore." And the second row reads "Hai, lots of men have died because of", which makes no sense when it's all put together. The full line should have been displayed as "Hai, lots of men have died because of him, we won't take it anymore." But it has incorrectly been displayed as "him, we won't take it anymore. Hai, lots of men have died because of." (This depends on which format and which studio distribution you are watching, but it can definitely be seen on the Region B Blu-Ray distributed by MediumRare). (00:31:38)
Other mistake: When Moss confronts the party crasher who has a gun to the arms dealer's head. The party crasher then pours gasoline all over the pumps and Moss shouts "Don't shoot, you'll blow this place up, I'm standing in the shit". As the scene eventually cuts back to Moss on a long shot, you can see that the floor is dry and he's not actually stood in the gasoline. (01:20:00 - 01:21:00)
