Other mistake: When Michael J. Fox is in the pool with Auntie Vera, she pulls off his shorts, however you can clearly see the flesh-coloured pants he has on underneath.
Plot hole: In the unedited video footage of the helicopter incident shown to the crowd, the last shot of Arnie getting knocked out is seen from his perspective and as such could never have been filmed by any camera.
Continuity mistake: The head of Mega-Maid mysteriously shrinks in size. After Spaceball-1 transforms into Mega-Maid, the head is gigantic enough for a Winnebago to fly through for a considerable length of time. However, later on in the film, after the head has been jettisoned and crashed on a beach, the head is only big enough to hold a few dozen people. This can be determined by the size of the people coming out of her nose.
Revealing mistake: As the Predator tends to his wounded leg, one of his claws can be seen bending as if made of rubber.
Revealing mistake: After Nuclear Man destroys the cab's hood, the shot changes and there's a thick string running behind him all along the car, and the cab driver is stretching out to pull it. Probably he was activating some sort of bad FX.
Continuity mistake: The reporters in the movie are hiding and video tapping the "drug deal gone bad" at the beginning of the movie. For the location that they are taping, there isn't any movement, they stay in one place. However, when the kids are watching the tape both times, it seems to be like an actual tape of what was going on, not what they could have taped, because, not only do they have cuts (going from one actors face to the next with no transitions) but they also show a shot where you could see where the cameraman was hiding, little hard for him to hit that angle!
Continuity mistake: After Gilbert Blythe falls in the lake with his bicycle, he and Anne run into Diana, and Gilbert's clothes and hair are perfectly dry.
Continuity mistake: Danny Devito leaves the bar and he begins to smash the windows in the car. In some frames the windows are intact then broken then intact and so on.
Other mistake: The way 'Sara'/'Sarah' is spelled differs from the movie credits and the tag on the bottom of her roller skate shown near the end of the movie. (01:35:35 - 01:37:30)
Other mistake: Max says that Michael is the "Man of the house" and won't come in until he's invited, which Michael sarcastically does, except Michael isn't the man of the house - its actually his grandfather who owns it.
Continuity mistake: In the last dance scene, Patrick Swayze jumps down from the stage and starts dancing. He goes down on his knees and when he lifts one knee, it is extremely dusty, however when he stands up his knees are completely clean. (01:33:00)
Continuity mistake: One scene has Glenn Close in bed shot from profile, and the sheet in down exposing her breasts. The film cuts to a frontal shot and the sheet is up around her neck. When it cuts back to profile, the sheet is down again.
Continuity mistake: When the Empress Dowager dies, she can't stand opening her eyes and closes them as the servant covers her face. You can see that through the white cloth.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Gunnery Sgt. Hartman is making his speech and passes by Privates Cowboy and Joker on his way to the other side of the barracks. On his way he passes Private Pyle standing to the right of Private Joker. Later in the scene, when he rushes over to confront Private Joker and then moves on to Private Cowboy and then Private Pyle, Private Pyle is on the left of Private Joker. (00:02:00)
Factual error: Sergeant Major Dickerson wears his blue infantry cord on his left shoulder. The cord is correctly worn on the right.
Visible crew/equipment: When Ash crashes his car into the tree stump and is ejected through the windshield, you can see the wire attached to the dummy pulled through the windshield. (00:12:35)
Visible crew/equipment: When the guy falls off the cliff and splats on the rocks below, if you watch it in slow motion, you can just see an orange bucket appear for a few moments which chucks the blood in the air. (00:23:25)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Emme is flying through the store, you can clearly see a rope guiding the path of the glider.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the film Mickey Rourke smashes up a pile of ice, which mysteriously reappears in its unsmashed form seconds later.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning when the photo of the Master is broken, the pieces of glass change position and then disappear altogether.
