Other mistake: At the end of the movie, when everybody wonders where they are, Gilligan holds up a piece of wood that says Minnow-1, making everybody realise they are back on the island. The name of the boat was known as the S.S. Minnow, and not Minnow-1.
Other mistake: On the first day of school, when Patty is starting to sit down next to Sandy, her reaction to sitting on the apple is way too early.
Other mistake: When Superman and Lois are flying through the clouds, there are a number of shots in which we see Superman from Lois' point of view. If you look closely, you can see that Christopher Reeve is not being suspended in these shots, but is, in fact, kneeling to look as though he is flying. You can tell by the profile of the red trunks.
Other mistake: When the gang are at The Palimino Club, there are certain long shots you can see that there is no roof to the room and it's a 3 sided set.
Other mistake: In the Disciplinary/Probation Hearing scene, the State Flag behind the Council is that of Tennessee. On the Double Secret probabtion edition, narrator John Landis says "Faber College in Pennsylvania". (01:01:00 - 01:06:00)
Other mistake: As the police lift the body of the 'dead' hotel clerk from behind the desk, you can see his eyes look around a bit.
Other mistake: When Cheech and Chong are crossing the street talking about Cheech's uncle, two buses are coming. When the second bus passes by the camera, a kid on the bus waves his hand to the camera. (00:38:15)
Other mistake: The opening credits list Tomas Milian, Bo Svenson, Gille Kirsten, etc. Everyone (before and after) by FirstName LastName as customary, except Kirsten Gille.
Other mistake: When Clouseau's trying on his short man disguise, kneeling to achieve this, his legs appear covered up. Impossible as the pants don't seem wide enough to cover them.
Other mistake: After Carlson and Gloria have escaped their captors, they have to get to the Opera House ASAP to try to thwart the assassination of the pope and have to use 3 vehicles. I have frequently visited SF from the UK, and am familiar with the layout of the city. The route they take seems bizarre. They keep coming back on themselves, and at one point make a left onto California St behind a cable car. All they then needed to do was continue to the junction with Van Ness, take a left down to the Opera House near the intersection with Market St - yet still go off-route. I appreciate sat-nav hadn't yet been developed, so perhaps the film-makers were trying to evoke memories of Steve McQueen's car chase in Bullet.
