Continuity mistake: Mickey Mouse uses an axe to cut down a tree for Christmas. Each chop he makes is horizontal, but when the tree falls over, the lower part of the trunk comes to a point, and the stump remaining in the ground has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When the bandit takes Droopy's wallet, he empties the contents and finds a photo of Droopy's girl. At this point, you can see the bandit is holding the photo with two hands, but when we see a close-up of the photo in the next shot, he is holding it with only his right hand.
Other mistake: When Sylvester is looking in the mirror whilst trying on hats, one of the hats has a price tag on it which reads $105.95. However, you can see the price numbering is the right way round - it should be back to front.
Continuity mistake: During the final parade, the amount of balloons around the lady suddenly increases between shots.
Continuity mistake: When the Coyote is pursuing the Road Runner at the start of the cartoon, he is holding a fork in his left hand and a knife in his right. But when we see the Coyote a few seconds later, he is now holding the knife in his left and the fork in his right.
Continuity mistake: When Bugs steers the plane away from the moon, you can see outside of the window it is outer space. But when we see Sam in the plane's tail in the next shot, it is now clear blue sky.
Continuity mistake: When Jerry is removing the nail from Spike's foot with a hammer, the distance of the wall behind Spike changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Pluto is dizzy after being spun around the young mouse, he walks into a tree and you can see there is nothing behind the tree, but in the next shot a fence has suddenly appeared.
Continuity mistake: The pictures on the wall of Calvero's apartment move around during the scenes, particularly the photos flanking the clock on the mantle above the fireplace. A particularly striking example is during the scene wherein Terry recovers the ability to walk. The scene starts off with a photographic-profile-portrait of Chaplin (not decked out as Calvero the Clown) on the left side of the clock and on the right side of the clock, a full-length photo of Calvero the Clown wearing a straw hat, and leaning on his cane, which is held in his left hand. As the scene progresses, the portrait to the left of the clock is replaced by a half-length photo of Calvero the Clown wearing a top hat, with his cane swung across his body, angled up. As Terry realizes she can walk, the portrait re-appears to the left of the clock, and there is nothing to the right of the clock.
Continuity mistake: When Sylvester is looking at Tweety in his cage in the pet shop window at the beginning of the cartoon, you can see Sylvester is resting his arms on the window sill. In the next shot, he now has his left hand under his chin.
Continuity mistake: When the captain lifts the lid and finds that Jerry has been eating his pancakes, you can see there is a knife behind the plate, but when we see a close-up of Jerry in the next shot, the knife has disappeared.
Revealing mistake: The Cliffhanger Ending of Chapter Three has Commando Cody trapped in a van that the villains jump out of before before the van goes off a cliff. As the van approaches the cliff there is a driver-eye view, you can see tire tracks from other takes of this scene. (00:46:50)
Continuity mistake: When the orange kitten and the brown kitten attend to Tom after they knocked him out by hitting his head on the ceiling, the eyebrow over the orange kitten's right eye disappears for a few seconds.
Continuity mistake: When Marc Anthony grabs his owner's leg when he is under the carpet, the kitten is in the driving seat of the toy car, but in the next shot he is now in the passenger seat.
Continuity mistake: When we first see Bugs' hole, you can see there are three carrot ends around it. After the dogs run over the hole, there are now only two carrot ends, and when the hunters pass over the hole, there are now three.
Continuity mistake: When Daffy Duck is on the windowsill at Porky Pig's house, the windows are initially misted, but in the next shot they are now perfectly clear.
Revealing mistake: In the opening scene the Club's dancers are in full-swing, including the tall, lanky gentleman from Lautrec's famous Moulin Rouge poster, the one with the very angular, extended nose and chin. In several closeups it's very plain that the chin is a makeup appliance: the edge of the appliance isn't blended very well with the actor's real skin.
Other mistake: In the opening credits, Lloyd Vaughan's surname is misspelt as "Vaughn."
Continuity mistake: When Tom (dressed as a seal) performs "Yankee Doodle" on the horns at the circus at the end of the cartoon, the background behind him changes between shots.
Factual error: In Danny Kaye's song about "The Emperor's New Clothes" he persistently and repeatedly uses the words "the king is in the altogether." Hans Christian Andersen lived from 1805 to 1875, but the expression "in the altogether", meaning naked, was invented and popularised by George Du Maurier in his novel "Trilby" which was not published until 1894.
