Continuity mistake: After Tom says goodbye to his friends, he goes to sleep on the window ledge. At this point, you can see it's night time, but when we see him sleeping from inside the house in the next shot, it is daylight outside.

Continuity mistake: When Droopy drives his car through the wall, the stunt results in some bricks being left on the floor. When Spike attempts to drive through the wall with his car, the bricks have disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Sylvester discovers that the cupboard door has a lock on it at the end of the cartoon, he is holding a can opener in his right hand, but after we see a close-up of the lock, we return to Sylvester and the can opener has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Pluto opens the hatch and finds the cat in the television set, there is nothing by the knob under it, but in the next shot the words "On" and "Off" appear from nowhere. The words disappear when the cat jumps out of the set a little later on.

Factual error: Sargent Nevins (Arthur Kennedy) is shown playing a pinball machine in the military rec room. When the camera turns to the play field of the machine, it is clear that this machine has flippers, and flipper buttons are visible on the side of the body. The movie takes place in 1943, but flippers didn't appear on pinball machines until 1947. (First machine to have flippers was Gottlieb's 'Humpty Dumpty.'. (00:37:30)

Factual error: When the Reindeer aircraft is on the ground at Gander, Jimmy Stewart pulls the landing gear handle, but only the left main gear folds up. All three landing gear (left, right, and nose) would have folded together.

Continuity mistake: When Porky Pig arrives at the castle, he appears completely dry. But when he opens the door in the next shot, he is soaking wet, and when we see Porky a few shots later, he is dry again.

Continuity mistake: When we see Junyer Bear sleeping in bed at the start of the cartoon, you can see he has "Junyer" written on the end of his bed, but when he is sitting up a couple of shots later, the word "Junyer" has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: After the first training montage, Alice is worried she might have flunked Meteorology and asks Marcie a question. When the door opens and everyone laughs, they both are in wildly different position than in the previous shot. (00:09:05)

Other mistake: A brief section of the film was flipped. One building has a sign saying "FIREARMS" and the lettering is in reverse.

Continuity mistake: When Raymond Burr emerges from the door at the beginning of the movie, in the first shot he is in the background while Mrs. Van Gelder is dancing. Notice that the decoration to the left of the door frame casts no shadow, but in the next shot the ambient lights have changed so much that now the hanging sculpture projects a huge one. (00:02:50)

Continuity mistake: In the overheard view of the dog grooming the cat, you can see there is nothing beside them, but in the next shot a blue ribbon suddenly appears.

Continuity mistake: When we first see Bugs' home at the start of the cartoon, there is nothing around the hole. When the camera pans in on the hole, pieces of carrot have appeared.
