Continuity mistake: When the coyote is tossing the boomerang up and down, his tail keeps disappearing and re-appearing.
Continuity mistake: When the grasshopper is performing his audition at the start of the cartoon, you can see there is nothing by the door, but when the door opens and the grasshopper appears, a spittoon and a cigarette end have appeared.
Continuity mistake: When Spike grabs Tom's whiskers and threatens him, the background behind them changes from a fence to blue sky between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Bugs dons his top hat and tails and tells the penguin, "I've always wanted a nice long formal vacation", he takes the penguin by his left hand. When the two are walking along in the next shot, Bugs is now holding the penguin in his right hand.
Continuity mistake: When Droopy tells Reginald Fox about the steak for every fox he brings back, Reginald is wearing his monocle on his right eye, but when he picks up the phone book in the next shot, the monocle is now on his left eye.
Continuity mistake: When the delivery man comes to the door with Porky's canary (Charlie Dog), the front door handle has a keyhole with it, but when Porky throws Charlie out of the house, there is no keyhole.
Continuity mistake: In this first Mr. Magoo animated short, Waldo is playing a four-string banjo. Throughout the cartoon, the number of strings keeps changing. Sometimes there are three and sometimes there are only two.
Continuity mistake: When Porky realises that they are celebrating Christmas in April instead of December, the numbers on the month of April on the calendar change position between shots.
Continuity mistake: In a full view of the oven, inside the oven door the chicken's legs are white, but in the next shot, the legs are now brown.
Continuity mistake: When Junior is reading the back page of his father's newspaper during breakfast at the start of the cartoon, the page has "Bugs Bunny Comics" at the top of it, but when Papa Bear puts his hand through the newspaper to hit Junior and tell him to eat his oatmeal, the page now just says "Comics".
Continuity mistake: When the egg rolls under Jerry while he is sleeping in his bed, you can see that the inside of Jerry's pillow is coloured yellow with green stripes, but in the next shot it is now blue with yellow stripes.
Continuity mistake: When Tweety is running away from Sylvester, he hides in a tube of "Badminton Birds." When Sylvester comes around the corner, you can see there is a racquet next to the tube, but when we see Tweety coming out of the tube in the next shot, the racquet has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: The movie begins with Joe Backett witnessing one of the many victories by swim star Eve Barrett. In the very first wide shot of the pool, Esther Williams is fitting her cap getting ready to compete. Continuity mistake: When Pluto turns around and sees the bubble gum machine, you can see that there is nothing behind the machine, but in the next shot a wall has suddenly appeared.
Continuity mistake: After Tom has torn up Jerry's diary, you can see that the pie is next the hole of Jerry's home, but when Jerry comes around the corner and sees Tom, the pie is now positioned near Tom's foot.
Other mistake: Just as Ichabod Crane places his coat across a small stream of muddy water so Katrina can cross, Brom Bones rides his horse through the water, creating a large splash. Ichabod winds up covered with mud and sitting in the water. Brom scoops up Katrina and rides off with her. There is not a speck of mud or water on her, on Brom or on the horse.
Continuity mistake: When the perfume shop owner places his bicycle on the pavement on arriving at the shop, the seat and the handle bars are missing.
Continuity mistake: When the three pigs are reading a book at the beginning of the cartoon, the front cover has "Children's Stories" on the red rectangle, but in the next shot the words have disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Huey, Dewey and Louie return to their home after buying the cigars, you can see that the wrapping paper is brown but when they are in the tree house, the paper is now light blue.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, Gregory Peck is in bed, tied down, when a storm opens his windows and blows out the candles. But when Ava Gardner walks in and closes the windows, the candles are alight again.
