Continuity mistake: When Tweety is running away from Sylvester, he hides in a tube of "Badminton Birds." When Sylvester comes around the corner, you can see there is a racquet next to the tube, but when we see Tweety coming out of the tube in the next shot, the racquet has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Sinatra comes down to Esther Williams to serenade her by the pool, she has just been swimming. When she meets up with him by the tree she is dry as a bone. Even her swimsuit is dry.
Continuity mistake: When the three pigs are reading a book at the beginning of the cartoon, the front cover has "Children's Stories" on the red rectangle, but in the next shot the words have disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Junior is reading the back page of his father's newspaper during breakfast at the start of the cartoon, the page has "Bugs Bunny Comics" at the top of it, but when Papa Bear puts his hand through the newspaper to hit Junior and tell him to eat his oatmeal, the page now just says "Comics".
Continuity mistake: When the bee sees Donald's eyes in front of him, you can see there is nothing behind him on the table he is walking on, but in the next shot a wooden box appears out of nowhere.
Continuity mistake: When Spike grabs Tom's whiskers and threatens him, the background behind them changes from a fence to blue sky between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Bugs dons his top hat and tails and tells the penguin, "I've always wanted a nice long formal vacation", he takes the penguin by his left hand. When the two are walking along in the next shot, Bugs is now holding the penguin in his right hand.
Continuity mistake: Bill Kirby enters the bar. He asks Bob the waiter about his wife. There's a cut during this brief exchange, and the girl sitting at the table in the background changes position suddenly (she was browsing a magazine, now she is holding it still and fully open). (00:02:35)
Continuity mistake: During the show, Bugs Bunny is interrupted by a knock on the door which he goes to see. At this point you can see there is nothing by the door, but in the next shot a light appears. The light then disappears when he goes back to the audience.
Continuity mistake: After the ill-received Al Jolson impersonation, Milton Berle gets paid only 5 bucks instead of 50. He asks the manager "What are you doing, putting 45 in your own pocket?" as several not so reassuring individuals begin to crowd him. Notice a balding guy with a white shirt and pattern tie; he puffs out smoke as he arrives, but at the cut he is still chewing on his cigar and immediately blows smoke again.
Continuity mistake: After Tom has torn up Jerry's diary, you can see that the pie is next the hole of Jerry's home, but when Jerry comes around the corner and sees Tom, the pie is now positioned near Tom's foot.
Continuity mistake: When the fox is holding a bottle of Atomic Powder during his audition towards the end of the cartoon, his fingers on the bottle change position between shots.
Continuity mistake: When the mouse (hidden in a vase) tiptoes on the table at the start of the short, the bread on the plate is initially pointing up, but in the next shot it is pointing down.
Continuity mistake: In this first Mr. Magoo animated short, Waldo is playing a four-string banjo. Throughout the cartoon, the number of strings keeps changing. Sometimes there are three and sometimes there are only two.
Continuity mistake: When Droopy is in Reginald Fox's lair, Reginald gives him a fake bone with a lit firecracker in it. Droopy then goes outside, and when he shows the other hunting dogs the bone, the other dogs fight over it and one of them puts the bone in his mouth. When Droopy asks the other dogs which of them took his bone, the bone which is one of the other dog's mouths does not appear in the shape of a bone around his mouth until he shakes his head "No" and then the firecracker explodes.
Continuity mistake: After Porky ties up the mailbag with Charlie Dog in it, he is holding the bag vertically, and puts the label "to Scotland" on it. When Porky goes in the house, Charlie is standing by the bag which is lying horizontally, and the label is affixed differently.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, Gregory Peck is in bed, tied down, when a storm opens his windows and blows out the candles. But when Ava Gardner walks in and closes the windows, the candles are alight again.
Continuity mistake: When we first see the concert hall at Giovanni Jones's concert, you can see that there is nothing on the left of the hall, but when Giovanni appears on the stage, a tree in a pot has appeared.
Continuity mistake: When we see "Grandpa's Folly" being 'scratched' in his starting box, the box has no door in front of it, but when we see the boxes at the start of the race in the next shot, a door has suddenly appeared.
Continuity mistake: The movie begins with Joe Backett witnessing one of the many victories by swim star Eve Barrett. In the very first wide shot of the pool, Esther Williams is fitting her cap getting ready to compete.
