Continuity mistake: When Elmer is reading his book at the beginning of the cartoon, you can see it reads "How to Photograph Wild Life" on the spine, but when we see Elmer in the next shot, the words have gone.
Continuity mistake: When Ellen tells her mother-in-law about her whereabouts in the Indian Ocean, Irene Dunn's hand is held high up on the column, and at the base in the following shot. (00:09:35)
Continuity mistake: Stan puts the half-folded newspaper down on the boat's galley table. One shot later, the paper is completely unfolded and covering the table. (00:46:05)
Continuity mistake: In the climactic sword fight between Power and Rathbone, the Captain hand Diego a sword and they immediately start a classic duel. At end, Diego pulls off a dueling glove that he had never put on.
Other mistake: In the windmill scene, the windmill reverses directions twice to signal the airplane. However when Joel McRae enters the windmill and we see the machinery it is obvious that there is no mechanism to reverse the windmill against the wind.
Continuity mistake: After the mouse is revived by water from Jasper, he goes up to the cat and you can see that the mouse's left hand is under Jasper's mouth, but in the next shot his hand is now near the whisker area.
Other mistake: It's the Professor's 60th birthday and the candles on his cake must be the trick type - they keep going out as the cake is carried into the room, but they quickly come back on again. But when it comes time for the Professor to blow them out, there's no problem - he blows them out easily.
Continuity mistake: When Porky is searching for his contract in the waste-paper basket in Leon Schlesinger's office, he leaves some paper on the floor. But when Leon tells him to go back to work, we cut to Porky and the paper has gone.
Continuity mistake: Watch the hinges when Goldilocks is at the wolf's house. In some shots they are on the front door; others they aren't.
