Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where the Sioux discover the rotting dead buffalo lying in the valley, as they are riding by them, right after they show a Sioux woman crying, in the background you can see a man with dark hair in a white shirt lying on the ground. In the special edition DVD, if you watch this scene with the commentary on you will hear Kevin Costner and Jim Wilson admit that it is an assistant cameraman trying to get out of the scene. (01:49:55)

Visible crew/equipment: When Levoi is visiting Maggie and Grandma at their home he is seated at the table talking with Maggie and she brings him a stack of files. There is a framed drawing on the wall behind Maggie with an American flag in it, right before the scene ends you can see the boom mic reflected in the upper left of the glass. (00:46:10)

Visible crew/equipment: When the truck is getting shot on the bridge, you see Rubber Duck get down on the floor of his cab and this is shown in many following shots. Just before the truck falls off the bridge, there is a short shot from inside the cab looking out. Somebody is sitting in the driver's seat, steering.

Visible crew/equipment: Right after Mr. Jones punches Young Ben down into the clay mud pit it cuts to GW climbing up out of the pit, and when GW reaches the top there are men standing in the background at the left side of the screen, at least one of whom is wearing modern-day clothing.

Visible crew/equipment: Near the end, as the group is leaving the doctor's office, there's a shadow of a boom mike wavering above David Carradine's head for about 3-4 seconds. (01:04:45)

Visible crew/equipment: As Ennis leaves for his first fishing trip with Jack, Alma is holding Alma Jr, whose pajama shirt is lifted. Alma Jr's microphone wire is visible on her stomach. (01:08:45)

Visible crew/equipment: During the closing scene, just as the deputy starts to walk towards the right of the screen, if you look between the two buildings, you can see the top of what appears to be a bus riding by.

Visible crew/equipment: When Hackman rises from the ground after the last explosion, a guy is in the upper right corner standing on a balcony holding a device with an antenna (probably a remote device for explosions). He is visible almost four seconds. (01:38:23)

Visible crew/equipment: During the final montage, in the shot flying under the Golden Gate Bridge, a piece of camera machinery can be seen spinning in the right third of the frame. Evidently the camera was inside a protective box with a transparent pane at the front. The Sun is in front of the camera, shining brightly, and the illuminated camera is reflected in that pane.

Visible crew/equipment: When Joe (Clint Eastwood) meets Ramón for the first time in the courtyard, they exchange a few words and then walk a short distance to a table to continue their conversation. As they walk the shadow of the boom microphone is cast on one of the pillars (the pillar with the man leaning against it and holding a rifle). (00:28:32)

Visible crew/equipment: As Captain Henry rides off towards the end, there is a propane burner/heater on the ground to the left between the pine trees that he rides right past. (02:08:35)

Visible crew/equipment: When Sheriff Bill Sharp steps out into the street you can see a hearing aid in his left ear.

Visible crew/equipment: When the wild horses, known as the brumbies, come rushing past the ranch, a cowboy can be seen to the far left of the frame herding them into the channel between a tree in front of the home's front fence and the fence itself. It's an awesome, but complex shot, and the rider was meant to be out of frame, but the technical realities of a shot like that have him just inside the frame's edge. There is a second right rider on the right half of the screen also driving the herd.

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where the gang that trained The Cherokee Kid are driving out to rob the bank, as the stagecoach is turning you can see trucks and other equipment in the reflection of the stagecoach windows. (01:05:36)

Visible crew/equipment: The first time we see Fogg the shadow of the camera operator (film director?) and camera sliding smoothly along tracks is perfectly visible.
