Revealing mistake: Signs for Baltimore based businesses are clearly visible in the stands, such as "Sheraton Inner Harbour" and various Baltimore banks.
Continuity mistake: When the Horsemen team are ready to play the start to skate up to the arena. You see a back view and Jonathan clearly doesn't have his white T-Shirt over his black suit. They cut to someone else then back to the team and Jonathan clearly has his white shirt on.
Continuity mistake: At one point Snipes jumps into the ocean to save his son, and when it shows a close-up on his face, you can tell it's not him. It's a pretty weak stunt double.
Revealing mistake: In the changing room before the Final, Peter leans against a dark wooden pillar several times. It moves on each occasion.
Revealing mistake: When the boys' rival team challenges them, all the boys throw their gloves down, except Yeah-Yeah. When they all go to pick them back up, Yeah-Yeah has to pretend to pick it up.
Continuity mistake: In the whipped cream bikini scene, when Mox pulls back from kissing the cheerleader he has whipped cream on his shirt. In the next shot it's not there.
Continuity mistake: Mina Hoyt's bra strap before the vault was a white strap. After she completed the vault, the bra strap changed to hot pink. (01:19:05 - 01:20:00)
Continuity mistake: When Chazz Michael Michaels goes to Katie Van Waldenberg to "comfort" each other Chazz leaves the door slightly open. Then it has a shot of Katie then back to Chazz and the door is completely closed. Then right before Jimmy walks in it shows a shot of Chazz and the door and it is slightly open again.
Continuity mistake: In the long crash scene at the end, the Perrier car loses the front passenger side tire in the initial flip, but in the next shot it is attached to the car again.
Other mistake: In the scene with the last match between DDP and Jimmy King, when Jimmy King is on top of the cage and grabs the belt, he is holding it up. It shows the belt has a nameplate on it saying Jimmy King. If DDP was the champ, wouldn't the nameplate read DDP, or Diamond Dallas Page?
Revealing mistake: There is an obvious stunt double for Grandpa during the fight scenes.
Continuity mistake: In the first scene in Woody Harrelson's flat, Rosie Perez is in bed. Her top falls down, all but showing her breast; but in the next shot, she has covered herself up, but without moving her arms.
Continuity mistake: In a bus scene Crash is shown holding a guitar talking about being in the majors. In one scene he's just holding the guitar, the next he has a pair of sunglasses in his hand while holding the guitar. The next scene the sunglasses are gone. A couple of shots later the guitar is sitting in the seat next to him. When Laloosh challenges Crash to a fight, he's holding the guitar again.
Continuity mistake: A shot of the chiefs' bench shows Newman on the left and Ontkean on the right. Ontkean says "I can't believe my frigging eyes." Neither can I. The next 2 rapid camera cuts show Ontkean on Newman's left, then on Newman's right again.
Visible crew/equipment: After the Peaches are introduced at their first game, they run onto the field. If you watch the background carefully, Rosie O'Donnell clearly trips over a production wire. (00:35:50)
Other mistake: When Miyagi throws Mike into the light switches, the lights go out but the switches never change position.
Continuity mistake: Coach Orion throws the puck at the bulletin board and makes a hole in it, but when he walks out of the locker room, the hole is gone.
Continuity mistake: In the first scene where the truck drives along the road, if you look in the top right hand corner you can see the shadow of the helicopter that was filming the shot.
Continuity mistake: When Ox throws MJ's shoes onto the wire, there is no tree beneath the wire where the shoes fall, but when Calvin climbs onto the tree, there is clearly a branch underneath the shoes.
Factual error: The poem Ali quotes in the movie before the Frazier fight, "Ali comes out to meet Frazier, Frazier starts to retreat, If he goes back any further, He'll end up in a ringside seat..." was in fact the poem he used before the first Liston fight and began, "Clay comes out to meet Liston, Liston starts to retreat..." and ends with the lines, "Never did they think, When they laid down their money, That they would witness, The total eclipse of the Sonny". Poor effort.
