Continuity mistake: The design of the ship's bow changes significantly while at sea. The white form on top of the bow used for mooring first does, then doesn't have an indentation on top, possibly with a bolt in the center. The point where the curved railing meets the straight side railings either is or is not connected by a top horizontal bar, and the gap between the vertical posts changes size. Another mistake on this site mentions the anchor design change, but also the metal walkway is made of tubular metal bars -or- flat bars that are more numerous and closer together. Continuity mistake: When Mr. Incredible lands on the island, he gets stuck in his capsule, eventually smashing it to get out. He starts stretching, bending backwards. The angle lowers to show that Mr. Incredible's suit is now a two-piece, revealing his fat stomach. During the rest of the movie, the suit is a one-piece, so this wouldn't be possible. (00:35:15)
Visible crew/equipment: When Hermione and Harry go back in time, they duck and hide from Malfoy (after being punched) and his friends as they leave. The bulging rectangular outline of the transmitter (for hidden cordless mic) is visible at her lower back, under her pink hoodie. It is visible in a few shots, including when they are at the pumpkin patch. The outline of Harry's transmitter is visible at his back, as he bows to Buckbeak at the pumpkin patch, when they rescue him. (01:45:10)
Continuity mistake: Carl's cop car has the licence plate "G2298" which is printed thinly on the licence plate. Then, when the vine wraps around his car, and bends it in two, the licence plate is now "CFJB95", printed very boldly on the plate. The words "POLICE 004" also differ, as does the bumper and the lights. Totally new car, methinks... (01:14:55)
Visible crew/equipment: In the "Battle of Carthage" in the Colosseum, one of the chariots is turned over. Once the dust settles you can see a gas cylinder in the back of the chariot. (01:22:55)
Continuity mistake: The purple grapes around the turkey platter disappear then reappear. (00:23:25)
Continuity mistake: In the scene in front of the hotel on the night before Rafe ships out to England, Evelyn puts a scarf around his neck. There is a camera shot from his back: no scarf; then another one from his front, and he's wearing the scarf again. (00:27:10)
Continuity mistake: When Romeo and Juliet are in bed and Romeo playfully pulls the sheet up over his head, his shirt gets caught in the sheet and ends up over his shoulder and around his neck, but in the next shot from the side, his shirt is down.
Visible crew/equipment: After Conan is set free from slavery he finds a cave where he removes a sword. When he climbs out of the cave you'll notice someone's hands near his feet pushing up his shackles. (00:29:25)
Continuity mistake: When Yulaw slams Gabe into a metal box, the glass and debris falls next to his feet. You see both glass and a few chunks of metal, with one especially large chunk of metal. It cuts to Yulaw, then back to Gabe, and now the metal chunks are missing and it just shows glass shards. (01:08:40)
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Doc Brown is following Biff into the tunnel, as Marty starts to pass between the cars on his hoverboard, one of the wheels on the rig supporting the hovering DeLorean is visible. (01:30:30)
Visible crew/equipment: Just as Eddie rides his motorcycle down from the lab's upper level, in the shot from behind him, set equipment and a few crew members are seen gathered at the top right of the screen, just before the shot cuts away. (00:44:40)
Revealing mistake: Bruce Willis wore fake feet during the movie to protect his own while shooting the film. They were like boots that slipped on over his. At the part where the FBI guy shoots at him from the helicopter and Bruce jumps to a lower level of the roof, you can see the tops of the fake feet that aren't tight around his ankles. (01:50:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When Bella pulls up in her truck for her first day at Forks High, as the camera pans from her truck as she parks it into shot, you can see the camera and boom reflected in the triangular window. (00:05:35)
Continuity mistake: In the courtroom scene with King Neptune, Mindy's gold band keeps disappearing and reappearing. (00:13:20 - 00:14:55)
Continuity mistake: When Tapia is giving the mural artist a dressing-down, his daughter has a book in one hand for most of the scene, but when the shot changes to one from above Tapia and his daughter, the book changes to the other hand. (02:03:15)
Continuity mistake: When Mike is trying to get Mark to ask Stacey out, there is a shot of her behind the counter and Stacey's hair is pulled back on the sides in french braids with ribbons on the ends. Then when Mark approaches Stacey, her hair is pulled back in a clip. The first shot of Stacey with the braid, is actually cut from a scene later in the film, when Mark and Stacey talk at the counter. Continuity mistake: When Arnold lets go of the landing gear he lands in the water. A few seconds later we see him walking up towards the beach, and we can now see that he is only wet from his waist down. It's not likely that he would have been able to land standing on his feet and not not becoming completely soaked. (00:24:41)
Visible crew/equipment: In the widescreen edition DVD, when Max's wife tugs at the chain on the back of the car after they have escaped the gang members, before she sees the ripped-off hand tied to it, you can see a crew member's hand holding the chain. (01:00:50)
Continuity mistake: When Sarah shouts, "Quick, this way!" and then Sir Didymus shouts, "No, not that way!" the hanging sign with the hammer hangs crookedly by only one chain. However, two shots later when Sir Didymus shouts, "You're going the wrong way!" the sign hangs properly from two chains. Then later, when the three Samurai Goblins jump in front of Sarah and the rest, the sign's chain is broken once again. (01:20:00 - 01:25:40)
