Other mistake: In the beginning of the movie, Notorious B.I.G. is a little boy sitting on his porch writing rhymes on his notebook and he is left-handed. Later in the movie, when Notorious B.I.G. is an adult, he is right-handed.

Other mistake: At the beginning, Pierre's doorbell rings. He goes to answer it, only to see Pépinot walking up the driveway. How could he ring the doorbell while walking up the driveway?

Other mistake: Two mistakes in one scene. Continuity Error: As Dewey's father is dueling with Dewey with a machete, Dewey's father cuts a ladder in half. Later in the same scene, you will notice that the ladder is whole. The second (Revealing Mistake) shows a wire leading up from the barn floor to Dewey's father's bottom half, supporting the effect. (01:12:10 - 01:13:05)

Other mistake: After Marie and Fritz take off to the Christmas tree in the first scene where they talk to their parents, Fritz is shown pulling toy soldiers off the tree to play with. In the first shot of the tree, Fritz stands back up from the toys he has already taken down and reaches for another one. There is nothing in his hands. The spot he reaches for has nothing in it, but as soon as his hands reach that part, a toy soldier suddenly appears in the spot he touches, without the camera cutting. And then in the next shot he bends down and puts his hands on his toys as if he is placing the toy soldier with the rest, but there is again nothing in his hands.

Other mistake: At the beginning of one of the school years, there is a sign on the front of the school that says, "Welcome back Class of 1980". A few months later, in December of that same school year, John Lennon is murdered. Since that class is graduating the following spring, the sign should have read "Welcome back Class of 1981", not 1980.

However, Ted said this a minute or 2 before they arrived. We even see the phonebooth they are in land after the statement was made. Therefore, there was no way for his wife to hear him say that.

Other mistake: When Doolittle is running his jeep up the muddy hill near the beginning, the landscape changes. The hill is a straight 40° angle, but in the close shots behind the wheel, it changes to a steep 80° which no vehicle could realistically terrain, except perhaps an army tank. And he stalls out several times and has to back up, which would not happen at the 80* steep. Then he miraculously makes it over the top.

Other mistake: Ritchie's 1950's Fender guitar amp looks like it would have looked in the 1980's when it should have only been a couple of years old in the movie.
