Revealing mistake: At the very beginning of most episodes of Series 1, during the pre-credit scene, either Paul or both of the brothers can be seen waiting for their cue. It usually lasts between one and three seconds.
Visible crew/equipment: At the very beginning of "Breakfast Telly" (Series 1), while the brothers are waiting for their cue, a boom mic and pole can be seen at the top of the screen. Revealing mistake: In "Cycle Crazy, Series 3, Paul rides through the tunnel on his bike only to ride out again when a big truck comes the same way. It is obvious that the shot of Paul and the lorry are two separate shots, because after Paul comes back out, the trees don't follow the same pattern as the previous shot. This also happens between the shots where Paul rides into the tunnel.
Plumb Crazy - S4-E1
Continuity mistake: When the fountain's head flies off, Barry bends down and puts his hand on Paul's right shoulder. In the next shot, his hand is suddenly on Paul's left shoulder and a few seconds later in the next shot it's back on Paul's right shoulder again.
Visible crew/equipment: The boom mic is visible twice in this episode: After Barry tries to hit the golf ball (which Paul nailed into the ground) and he falls over, the boom mic is briefly seen at the top of the screen. And When Paul and Barry are in the paddling pool and Paul says "That will cost you a stroke", the boom mic is again briefly seen at the top of the screen.
Visible crew/equipment: In "Wrong Number" from series 5, Paul and Barry are hiding from the spies and are dressed in Hawaiian clothes. As they are walking slowly away with the spy behind them, Paul's glasses, which are on his forehead, reflect the boom mic up until they leave the shot.
Continuity mistake: When Paul gets his hand trapped in the window and when Barry can't switch off the alarm, Paul takes his hand out that's trapped in the window and switches it off, when his arm should be stuck in the window.
Visible crew/equipment: When the brothers leave for the pitch and Barry takes his weight off the locker doors and they come flying open, look at the second locker you can see a pole pushing it open.
