Continuity mistake: In episode 13 "Sectionals" when Will confronts Sue in the corridor about leaking the set-list to the rival teams, Sue is wearing a bag over her shoulder. However, in the shots from behind the bag is nowhere to be seen. (00:16:05)

Continuity mistake: In episode 13 of season 1 (Sectionals), during the five way split screen, the extras behind Mercedes and the ones behind Tina are the same but have different movements.
Factual error: In season two the show makes Dalton look like it's in a suburb of Lima. Dalton Academy is suppose to be located in Westerville, OH, which is two hours southeast of Lima. Kurt & Blaine would not be able to go to the "Lima Bean" coffee shop every day if this was the case.
Trivia: The show is based on creator Ian Brennan's experience in show choir at Prospect High School in Illinois.
