Question: Why has American Dad! gotten so violent ever since the fifth season? I mean they had a bit of violence in the first four seasons, but now ever since season five and so on nearly every single episode is full of all different types of violence.

Chosen answer: It is just the decision of the creators to do so.

MasterOfAll

Chosen answer: The CIA placed Klaus' brain inside a goldfish. The reason the CIA did this was because Klaus was once an Olympic ski-jumper and was supporting East Germany in the 1986 Winter Olympics. The CIA knew Klaus was going to win the gold medal for ski-jump and they did not want this to happen, so the only alternative they could think of was to place Klaus' brain inside the body of a goldfish before he could compete.

Of Ice and Men - S2-E7

Question: Stan ditches Francine as a skating partner to skate with Roger because he's better than Francine and he does that because he wants to win the skating championship. Later in the episode, Stan realises it's not the winning that matters, then ditches Roger to skate with Francine not to win. But she declines. Why would she want to skate with him and not skate with him when he doesn't want to do it just to win?

Chosen answer: She declines because she is still angry with him for ditching her.

Chosen answer: The Beat.

MasterOfAll

Answer: She says "facacta" ghoul. It's a Yiddish word meaning ridiculous. It's not a type of ghoul, just her being annoyed at Buckle.

Question: Why would the CIA be after Roger? They handle foreign problems. The FBI looks into alien and UFO sightings.

Rob245

Answer: This series is hardly an accurate depiction of the real CIA (or FBI, for that matter); for example, Avery Bullock would never be deputy director given his mental instability, and Stan would have been fired many times over for his incompetence.

zendaddy621

Answer: I always thought it was a play on words. They're harboring an alien, which could mean someone who isn't a citizen. But Roger is an outer space alien.

Spring Break-Up - S3-E16

Character mistake: At one point in the show, Roger throws a bucket of water (in disguise as Scotch Bingeington) on Francine claiming "Wet T-Shirt Contest!" Francine looks disgusted when Roger states "Eh, give this one a four" to the guy judging the contest, then says to Francine "Don't feel bad, you've had three kids." Francine replies "I've had two." and Roger gasps and puts a consoling hand on Francine's shoulder. This is wrong because Francine has birthed four children. She previously gave birth to Bailey (Hayley's twin), and Greg and Terry's baby in Season 3 Episode 7 "Surro-Gate." (00:14:15)
