Continuity mistake: Though she and Mark have both been calling Putzi the dachshund (who is visibly female) a "she" and a "good girl" throughout the episode, April has an odd memory lapse later and refers to the dog as "he." (00:29:30)
Revealing mistake: Mark's stunt man is a little too obvious in the final fight scene. Mark suddenly gains 20 pounds and a whole new set of muscles that he didn't have before. (00:44:35)
The Prisoner of Zalamar Affair - S1-E2
Revealing mistake: Mark finds the bomb planted under his Jeep and puts it under the bad guy's car instead. When it explodes, there's a huge cloud of smoke, but before the shot cuts, you can see that the car is completely undamaged. (00:10:30)
The Mother Muffin Affair - S1-E3
Revealing mistake: The climactic chase occurs in an amusement park, supposedly in Brighton, England. But several things give away the real filming location, among them an ad for 15c (not 15p) snow cones, two very American-style phone booths, and best of all, a pole proudly sporting both a U.S. flag and a California state flag, visible in the background behind the phone booths. (00:44:15)
Revealing mistake: The motorcycle chase is supposed to take place late at night. But in several shots, a cloud-strewn blue daytime sky can be seen, and long shadows on the streets indicate that the scene was actually shot either in the early morning or the late afternoon. (00:24:45)
The Montori Device Affair - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: The bad-guy bellman knocks Mark out, then zips him face down into a garment bag. He then places the bag, without turning it, onto his luggage cart, and the outline of the body inside (a dummy, judging by how effortlessly he lifts it), is now facing up. (00:22:50)
The Horns-of-the-Dilemma Affair - S1-E6
Revealing mistake: Due to the rather obvious insertion of car-crash stock footage, April's white 1964 Ford Falcon turns into a gray 1950s sedan as it goes over the cliff. (00:15:45)
The Garden of Evil Affair - S1-E8
Visible crew/equipment: In the teaser, the departing Thrush limo provides the viewer with a reflection of both the camera and the lined-up film crew. (00:02:15)
The Garden of Evil Affair - S1-E8
Deliberate mistake: The bad guys chase Mark through a movie studio backlot past a London bus with a large red "Out of Service" sign on its side. During the ensuing shoot-out scene, the film is reversed for some reason, and the sign on the bus is suddenly backwards. (00:24:20)
Continuity mistake: Mark, April and the professor leap from a boat seconds before a bomb goes off aboard. But in the shot of the boat exploding right after they jump, there's no one in the perfectly calm water, and the empty rubber raft is still alongside the burning boat. Somehow, though, the escapees are rowing to safety in that same raft a few shots later. (00:03:20)
Audio problem: When LeGallows complains that the road is unendurable, his lips don't move at all. (00:20:15)
Plot hole: After stressing (as Waverly did earlier) that only a laser beam can activate the explosive crystals, LeGallows demonstrates the destructive power of one - using only sunlight. (00:37:15)
Continuity mistake: The candles LeGallows slices up with his fencing foil disappear from the floor a few shots later. (00:44:30)
The Paradise Lost Affair - S1-E10
Continuity mistake: Mark's blue shirt, soiled in the shipwreck and again in the fight with Henry, launders itself nicely a few shots later, becoming completely dry and spotless once again. (00:24:30)
The Lethal Eagle Affair - S1-E11
Revealing mistake: Mark hides inside the grand piano - improbable (there's not enough room) unless the piano is a mock-up without any real harp or strings. And in fact, when he jumps out, you can see that there's nothing inside. Somehow, though, the piano still makes sounds when Dieter touches the keys. (00:27:00)
The Lethal Eagle Affair - S1-E11
Continuity mistake: April is undercover in Madame Gita's mansion, and has been speaking with her normal (American) inflection throughout most of the episode. Midway through, however, she suddenly acquires a German accent for no apparent reason. (00:35:15)
The Lethal Eagle Affair - S1-E11
Revealing mistake: While Madame Gita is testing the death ray device, she orders Franz to go check the power. He trots off to obey, and in the process crosses, miraculously unscathed, directly in front of the "deadly" light beam. (00:42:15)
The Little John Doe Affair - S1-E13
Continuity mistake: Highly-trained secret agents are supposed to know their own IDs. When April reports to HQ over her communicator, she identifies herself as "April Dancer, Section One." She works, as do all the U.N.C.L.E. field agents, for Section Two. (00:29:00)
The Little John Doe Affair - S1-E13
Continuity mistake: When the Italian U.N.C.L.E. official parks his red sports car outside the jail and gets out, he leaves the door ajar. When he comes back with April, the door has closed itself. (00:38:15)
The Jewels of Topango Affair - S1-E14
Continuity mistake: In the air, the small plane Mark flies is all white. Once on the ground, it mysteriously turns blue. (00:05:15)
