Nightmare at Northoak - S1-E11
Continuity mistake: When Gerard leaves the cell block, Kimble is at the cell door with his hands on the bars. Next shot, as Gerard exits, the cell door is visible in the background, and Kimble is no longer standing there. But in an immediate cut back to the cell, he's back with his hands on the bars again. (00:35:35)
Never Wave Goodbye (2) - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: Gerard is rowing the life raft with his back to the shoreline. But in the next shot, he's instantly facing in the other direction as the waves begin tossing the raft. (00:41:30)
Continuity mistake: When Rowland's wife unfolds Kimble's wanted poster, the center crease is peaked toward her. But when we see a close-up of it, the poster has been folded the opposite way, with the crease pointing away from her. (00:41:45)
Revealing mistake: During the fight in the farmhouse, Kimble's stunt double is very obvious. You can see his face in several shots. (00:10:50)
Smoke Screen - S1-E7
Continuity mistake: Dr. Kimble says here that he interned in New York. In "The Survivors," we were told that he interned at County Hospital in Fairgreen, Indiana.
The Shattered Silence - S4-E27
Continuity mistake: Kimble is wounded in the left arm. But at the end, as he makes his way down the mountain, he's holding and favoring his right arm. (00:49:00)
Revealing mistake: Kimble and Eddie take an elevator down to the parking garage. When the doors open, you can see that there's no break in the floor between the garage and the elevator car. It's solid concrete. (00:28:50)
Audio problem: When Kimble and Marcie are trying to keep the boat from slipping its moorings in the storm, he shouts for her to "Get that line free." But his lips aren't moving with the words. (00:35:40)
Factual error: The train transporting Kimble to the death house in the very first scene is a modern American train, but the cars during the derailing appear to be from the 1800's, then the wrecked cars have French writing describing the rail line.
Everybody Gets Hit in the Mouth Sometime - S2-E24
Visible crew/equipment: When Kimble is chasing his boss, when they are both driving semis, and he is trying to warn him that the insurance company is setting him up, there is a camera and crew on the hillside.
The Breaking of the Habit - S4-E19
Continuity mistake: Kimble was gimpy early in the episode, because he had been shot in the leg. During the episode he refuses any treatment. But near the end of the episode he is seen walking without a limp and in perfect health.
Visible crew/equipment: The tailgate of Lloyd Chandler's station wagon, and the door of Gerard's car a few minutes later both capture reflections of studio lights and the camera crew. (00:04:50 - 00:07:10)
Visible crew/equipment: When Gerard opens the precinct office door, its glass shows us several studio reflectors. (00:04:20)
Dossier on a Diplomat - S4-E25
Continuity mistake: Kimble tells Hobart there's no new evidence that could get him another trial. But maybe Dr. Kimble is suffering from amnesia. In the past 3 1/2 seasons, he's uncovered no fewer than four potential witnesses who could provide new evidence in a second trial. (00:22:35)
Revealing mistake: Within hours of being shot in the leg and having the bullet dug out without anesthetic (unless a slug of whiskey counts), Kimble is not even limping. (00:15:00)
The Breaking of the Habit - S4-E19
Continuity mistake: Kimble enters Sister Veronica's room, closes the door and walks toward her. Then the shot cuts to a closer angle, and he's closing the door over again. (00:31:55)
Continuity mistake: Rafe and Kimble escape handcuffed together. They break the linking chain with a rock: each then wears a single bracelet. But when he kneels to examine the dead deputy, Kimble is wearing a cuff with an intact chain and an empty bracelet hanging from it. (00:28:45)
Right in the Middle of the Season - S4-E11
Revealing mistake: When Kimble exits the police station and closes the door, the set wall wobbles. (00:19:05)
A Clean and Quiet Town - S4-E3
Continuity mistake: The rear tires on Kimble's car get stuck in the sand and spin when he's trying to U-turn and avoid the roadblock. After the police order him to drive back to town with them, however, the car wheels somehow unstick themselves, and Kimble has no trouble at all driving out of the sand pit. (00:48:25)
The Other Side of the Coin - S4-E16
Continuity mistake: When Sheriff Corby arrests Kimble outside the boarding house, the front door is open and the porch light is on. In the next shot, as they get in the car and drive away, the house door has closed itself and the porch light is off. (00:27:55)
Answer: Production vehicle models aren't in sync with the calendar year. The '65 Mustang began production in March 1964 and first sold in April 1964, before it was "introduced" the following year. I don't know which model was seen in the episode, but the 2+2 fastback was sold in September 1964. The 1964 film "Goldfinger" uses a 1965 Mustang as part of Ford's product placement. Basically, in the 1930's, FDR ordered automakers to release vehicles in the fall of the preceding calendar year "as a means of facilitating regularization of employment in the industry." Now, automakers can release new models as early as Jan 2 of the preceding year.
