Continuity mistake: When Black Tom Cassidy is first shown counting his money, he's seated at a table with no wall near his backside. Moments later when Erik the Red is telling Lilandra what name he goes by on Earth, there is suddenly a window behind Cassidy, within an arm's reach. (00:10:22 - 00:11:09)

Continuity mistake: When Moira and Banshee are alerted to Xavier in distress, the building with his room is several yards away from the edge of the cliff. However, when Banshee dives to save Xavier from falling to his death, the edge of the cliff is now only a few feet from the building. (00:02:46 - 00:05:02)

Continuity mistake: When Moira is telling Banshee that Xavier has given everything for his students, she has her left hand placed on Banshee's right arm, and her right arm is down at her side. Then when she remarks that she thinks she's the only friend Xavier has, she is running her fingers through her hair. When this scene was shown in the previous episode however, she is grasping Banshee's arm with both of her hands, and she never runs her fingers through her hair. (00:02:26)

Trivia: Following Disney's acquisition of Fox, the creators of this show pitched a revival to stream on Disney+. Producer Larry Houston has said he would come out of retirement specifically to work on this. The revival - titled X-Men '97 - was announced on Disney+ Day in November of 2021 for a 2024 premiere date, with much of the surviving original cast returning.

However, there were continual production quality problems, issues regarding whether the content was suitable enough for children, as well as financial considerations that finally led to it being ended.
