The Joker's Last Laugh (1) - S2-E47

Revealing mistake: The counterfeit 100 dollar bills that Gordon and O'Hara say look "so authentic" don't actually resemble any known U.S. currency at all. In fact, a close look reveals them to be very bad photocopies of Mexican 100 peso notes. (00:01:00)

Catwoman Goes to College (1) - S2-E49

Revealing mistake: The crowd scenes during what is supposedly a Gotham City University student protest rally are inserts of rather blurry old stock footage. Not only is the mob far too large for a mere college rally, the footage is in black & white, while the rest of Batman is in color. Bit of a dead giveaway. (00:23:00)

The Joker's Hard Times (2) - S2-E38

Continuity mistake: The Batmobile pulls up in front of the Platter-Porium, and you can see that only Batman and Robin are inside the car. When the shot cuts to close-up, though, Venus is sitting in between them. (Tight squeeze: it's a 2-seater and she must be straddling the transmission hump and hand brake - ouch.) The shot cuts back to full for them to jump from the car, and Venus has disappeared again. (00:13:40)

Suggested correction: We do see Venus in all three shots. When the Batmobile pulls up in front of Platter-Porium, in the first wide shot we see blonde hair between Batman and Robin. Then after the closeup, in the second wide shot (same angle as the first) when Batman and Robin have exited the car, we see Venus turn and poke her head out of the Batmobile, on Robin's side of the car. Also, in the closeup when Batman opens the door, we see Venus is sharing the passenger seat with Robin, directly beside the transmission hump and hand brake, so no ouch for her. Venus does the same thing in the next episode, when she's brought to the Batcave.

Penguin Sets a Trend (2) - S2-E43

Visible crew/equipment: The Batmobile, responding to Batman's remote control activator, is supposedly driving itself through Gotham City's streets. But in one shot, even though he's crouching down, you can see the head of the film crew member actually driving the car. (00:03:00)

The Joker's Provokers (2) - S2-E22

Continuity mistake: After Alfred pulls out the key, two pieces of the little blue time-shifting box have apparently fallen to the floor. Joker snatches one of them up while struggling with the butler. But when Batman and Robin leap in for the next shot, the second piece has vanished from its spot on the floor. (00:20:30)

The Bird's Last Jest (2) - S2-E28

Plot hole: Batman proudly tells Robin that he knows Penguin's men are out of ammo because he's been counting all the bullets. But he'd have no way to know how many rounds they had to begin with, so he couldn't possibly know that they've run out. (00:05:30)

The Sandman Cometh (1) - S2-E33

Continuity mistake: As the batfight ends and one of Sandman's henchmen hits Batman with a bolt of cloth, he goes down and is buried with mattresses on the right side. But when they remove the mattresses to wake him up, he is facing forward.

Come Back, Shame (1) - S2-E25

Continuity mistake: When Okie Annie shoots the chandelier over Batman and Robin, they both are dazed by it. But Shame only whacks Batman over the head with the chair before he falls unconscious. Robin is still waving his hands reacting to the chandelier fall and finally falls unconscious when Batman goes to the ground.

The Joker's Hard Times (2) - S2-E38

Continuity mistake: At GCPD HQ, when Commissioner Gordon decides to call Batman he removes the Batphone's acrylic dome cover and lifts the red receiver, still holding it when Joker shows up. Then, when Joker announces his next target is Libra the scales, in the next shot from a different angle, the Batphone is now untouched under the acrylic dome, between shots. (00:02:55)

Commissioner Gordon: Great day in the morning.

Trivia: Originally, Batman villain Two-Face was going to appear in this show and was going to be portrayed by Clint Eastwood. Two-Face's backstory wouldn't have him as an attorney who had acid thrown in his face but instead have him as a news anchor who would have a stage light exploding resulting in his injuries and his transformation into a criminal.

Answer: There wasn't one singular city used. It was shot in and around various locations in California, plus on a lot of sets and backlots. Ex. Some scenes were shot in LA, some in Pasadena, some in Santa Barbara, etc.
