The Bird's Last Jest (2) - S2-E28
Visible crew/equipment: Batman tilts the Bat Shield just a little too much when he and Robin are under fire from Penguin's goons, and it captures a pretty clear reflection of the camera rigging. (00:04:00)
The Joker's Last Laugh (1) - S2-E47
Revealing mistake: The counterfeit 100 dollar bills that Gordon and O'Hara say look "so authentic" don't actually resemble any known U.S. currency at all. In fact, a close look reveals them to be very bad photocopies of Mexican 100 peso notes. (00:01:00)
Catwoman Goes to College (1) - S2-E49
Revealing mistake: The crowd scenes during what is supposedly a Gotham City University student protest rally are inserts of rather blurry old stock footage. Not only is the mob far too large for a mere college rally, the footage is in black & white, while the rest of Batman is in color. Bit of a dead giveaway. (00:23:00)
The Joker's Hard Times (2) - S2-E38
Continuity mistake: The Batmobile pulls up in front of the Platter-Porium, and you can see that only Batman and Robin are inside the car. When the shot cuts to close-up, though, Venus is sitting in between them. (Tight squeeze: it's a 2-seater and she must be straddling the transmission hump and hand brake - ouch.) The shot cuts back to full for them to jump from the car, and Venus has disappeared again. (00:13:40)
Suggested correction: We do see Venus in all three shots. When the Batmobile pulls up in front of Platter-Porium, in the first wide shot we see blonde hair between Batman and Robin. Then after the closeup, in the second wide shot (same angle as the first) when Batman and Robin have exited the car, we see Venus turn and poke her head out of the Batmobile, on Robin's side of the car. Also, in the closeup when Batman opens the door, we see Venus is sharing the passenger seat with Robin, directly beside the transmission hump and hand brake, so no ouch for her. Venus does the same thing in the next episode, when she's brought to the Batcave.
That Darn Catwoman (1) - S2-E40
Continuity mistake: After the drugged Robin clobbers Batman with a wooden chair, the broken pieces change their arrangement on the floor between one shot and the next. (00:20:50)
Penguin Sets a Trend (2) - S2-E43
Visible crew/equipment: The Batmobile, responding to Batman's remote control activator, is supposedly driving itself through Gotham City's streets. But in one shot, even though he's crouching down, you can see the head of the film crew member actually driving the car. (00:03:00)
The Joker's Provokers (2) - S2-E22
Continuity mistake: After Alfred pulls out the key, two pieces of the little blue time-shifting box have apparently fallen to the floor. Joker snatches one of them up while struggling with the butler. But when Batman and Robin leap in for the next shot, the second piece has vanished from its spot on the floor. (00:20:30)
Caught in the Spider's Den (2) - S2-E56
Audio problem: The sound effects are inaudible when Robin is punching Black Widow's henchman when she talks about where her short-circuiting device is.
A Riddling Controversy (2) - S2-E46
Continuity mistake: At the end, Riddler's moll Anna Gram's earrings disappear, just as Batman and Robin arrive before the fight.
The Clock King's Crazy Crimes (1) - S2-E11
Other mistake: When Clock King activates the coils to ensnare Batman and Robin, the coils ensnare Batman first, while Robin just reacts. In the next shot, Robin is tangled as well.
Other mistake: When Tut's henchman slowly reads that Bruce Wayne will donate his talking sphinx to the Black Museum at Scotland Yard from a newspaper, a close-up shows he is reading it upside down.
The Sandman Cometh (1) - S2-E33
Continuity mistake: As the batfight ends and one of Sandman's henchmen hits Batman with a bolt of cloth, he goes down and is buried with mattresses on the right side. But when they remove the mattresses to wake him up, he is facing forward.
Continuity mistake: Tut's crocodiles are menacing in the close-up, but in the scene where Robin is over the moving ledge, the crocodiles are very fake.
Continuity mistake: When Okie Annie shoots the chandelier over Batman and Robin, they both are dazed by it. But Shame only whacks Batman over the head with the chair before he falls unconscious. Robin is still waving his hands reacting to the chandelier fall and finally falls unconscious when Batman goes to the ground.
It's the Way You Play the Game (2) - S2-E26
Visible crew/equipment: At the Batcave, when Batman and Robin use the Batroscope it leads them to the Adobe Hacienda Motel and Eats, which serves the best chili and avocado dip in GC. When it cuts to them entering the building, at the start of this shot the shadow of the moving boom mic is visible in the bottom right corner of the screen. (00:09:30)
The Joker's Hard Times (2) - S2-E38
Continuity mistake: At GCPD HQ, when Commissioner Gordon decides to call Batman he removes the Batphone's acrylic dome cover and lifts the red receiver, still holding it when Joker shows up. Then, when Joker announces his next target is Libra the scales, in the next shot from a different angle, the Batphone is now untouched under the acrylic dome, between shots. (00:02:55)
The Zodiac Crimes (1) - S2-E37
Visible crew/equipment: Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson walk into the study alone when Bruce takes the Batphone call from Commissioner Gordon, then just as Bruce says, "The Joker again," at the top of the tuba bell we can see the reflection of a man wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and grey pants. Numerous studio lights are reflected as well. (00:03:15)
The Catwoman Goeth (2) (a.k.a. A Stitch in Time) - S2-E34
Visible crew/equipment: Outside the run down factory, when the GC police officers step out of their patrol car and walk over to the Batmobile, just as senior Officer Dietrich begins giving the rookie officer the what for, the reflection of the boom mic is visible on the Batmobile's left bubble windshield, at the left side of the screen. (00:10:50)
The Bird's Last Jest (2) - S2-E28
Visible crew/equipment: At the abandoned Navy rec center, when Penguin and his miscreants are out of bullets they surrender, and as they all gather with their hands up, there are a few chalk T-marks visible on the ground where they stand. (00:05:25)
