The Dead Ringers (2) - S2-E16

Continuity mistake: Tied to a conveyor belt, Batman and Robin move past a stack of boxes stenciled with the factory's name. Cut to close-up, and they're now back to a position right next to the boxes. Back to master shot, and the boxes are once again several feet away - at least until the next close-up. (00:02:50)

Hizzonner the Penguin (1) - S2-E17

Visible crew/equipment: At the start, when Penguin rescues a blind vendor in view of a GCPD officer, Penguin claims that the accusation he would molest a minion of the law is inconceivable, then as he pushes the vendor toward the officer, two chalk T-marks are visible on the ground. (00:00:50)

Super Grover

Hizzonner the Penguin (1) - S2-E17

Other mistake: When Pengy shows up at the Grand Order of Occidental Nighthawks he feigns shock, then as he shoves his umbrella into the vat of sulfuric acid, Penguin moves his arm/hand toward the right to pull out a different umbrella, one that appears destroyed by the acid. (00:22:55)

Super Grover

Dizzonner the Penguin (2) - S2-E18

Other mistake: Batman throws himself into acid. Counting on acid-proof suits, Batman comes out unscathed, but his ropes didn't get burned off until he dipped the back into the acid. Also, even though he covered his face a moment, he came out with his face exposed, and undamaged, when it should have been burned.

Movie Nut

Green Ice (1) - S2-E19

Continuity mistake: Mr. Freeze has frozen the commissioner's office, and when Batman applies plastic explosive to the door, a frost stripe appears that wasn't there in the master shot a moment before. In the next shot, the putty he's just put there disappears. And when the explosion occurs (even though Batman didn't add any detonators), it doesn't emanate from anywhere near the spot where he applied the putty. (00:06:00)

The Impractical Joker (1) - S2-E21

Continuity mistake: Toward the end of the fight in the fur salon, one of Joker's henchmen shifts locations instantaneously. In the first shot, he's on the far side of Robin, falling against the wall. In the very next shot, he jumps to a spot between Robin and the camera, where he takes a swing at Batman. (00:17:00)

The Joker's Provokers (2) - S2-E22

Factual error: Tsk. After all his lectures to Robin about the importance of education, Batman should and would know better. On the chalk board, where he's written out Joker's message (dictated to him over the phone), the caped crusader mis-punctuates the phrase "a gargoyle's key" by leaving out the apostrophe. Definitely not a mistake that stickler-for-correctness Batman would make. (00:09:30)

The Joker's Provokers (2) - S2-E22

Continuity mistake: After Alfred pulls out the key, two pieces of the little blue time-shifting box have apparently fallen to the floor. Joker snatches one of them up while struggling with the butler. But when Batman and Robin leap in for the next shot, the second piece has vanished from its spot on the floor. (00:20:30)

The Joker's Provokers (2) - S2-E22

Factual error: During the fight to regain his box, the Joker picks up an orange colored deep well drill bit to hit Batman. First, such a device has sufficient weight that one regular man couldn't lift it easily, let alone swing it. Second, the drill bit wouldn't be lying around in the water works guard office.

Movie Nut

Commissioner Gordon: Great day in the morning.

Trivia: Originally, Batman villain Two-Face was going to appear in this show and was going to be portrayed by Clint Eastwood. Two-Face's backstory wouldn't have him as an attorney who had acid thrown in his face but instead have him as a news anchor who would have a stage light exploding resulting in his injuries and his transformation into a criminal.

More trivia for Batman

Answer: There were three well-known actors who played Mr. Freeze, each one a different height, weight, and physique. As these were notable guest stars, the costume designers would adapt the costume to best fit each actor who likely would want to avoid comparisons to the other Mr. Freezes, incorporate their preferences, as well as refresh the look, rework whatever didn't work in previous versions, and so on.
