Other mistake: When Lucy and Ethel are on the back porch fighting about the washing machine and also when Mrs. Trumble walks out, Lucy's back door is open and we can see the shutters between the kitchen and living room, with the kitchen counter/sink underneath, but the sink's faucet which should be seen has vanished. Revealing mistake: At the Brown Derby, when Lucy bumps into the waiter causing him to trip and spill the tray all over William Holden, we can see that the waiter's hand is taped to the bottom of the tray for the stunt to be done efficiently. (00:15:15)

Fred Mertz: Never.
Ricky Ricardo: Never? How do you manage that?
Ethel Mertz: It's easy. I never had enough money at one time to open a checking account.

Chosen answer: It's not known. She may have moved it to the spare room or it may be in a corner just off camera. There could be any number of reasons, though it probably took up too much room on the studio set, and it was removed, making it easier for the actors to move around.
