Continuity mistake: When young Al reaches forward with his left arm to take the book that Miss Degroot wants to give to him, she quickly pulls back but young AL still has his arm raised. In the next shot, his hand his down by his side.

Take My Wife, Please - S8-E7

Continuity mistake: When Al comes home, he finds a written message from Peg saying that she, Kelly and Bud are at Marcy's house performing the Village People. However, Peggy couldn't have written the message because when they agreed to play the Village People, they went over to Marcy's immediately. (00:04:50 - 00:06:10)

Al Goes to the Dogs - S10-E21

Continuity mistake: Al enters the house at 3am with Lucky. It is sleeting outside and there is snow all over the front and backyard. Later that day, Al is in the backyard, no snow to be seen, and grass and bushes in full bloom.

Rock of Ages - S7-E9

Continuity mistake: In this episode, Al has taken on the persona of Axel Bundy, a rock star, so he can fly first class with older rock stars. But before they start a jam in the first class lounge pre-flight, one of them calls him AL when he's prodding Al to join the group when all they knew him by was the name Axel.

Breaking up is Easy to Do (2) - S11-E15

Continuity mistake: Before the dinner date, Peggy takes a plate of raw meat out of the dishwasher. Bud and Kelly go to help her put it on the stove, but Peggy's plate is now empty and the meat is on another plate already on the stove. Yet strangely, Bud and Kelly take the empty plate from her anyway and put it on the stove next to the other one.

Al Bundy, Shoe Dick - S6-E11

Continuity mistake: When Al Bundy drops the stiletto shoe into the fish tank, he reaches down into the tank to get it and his sleeve and hand are dry as he shows the shoe. Also, hardly any water drips off the shoe. (00:17:00)

Live Nude Peg - S11-E17

Continuity mistake: In one of the scenes where Bud is forcing Kelly to eat, he tries to feed her cheese whiz but she resists and some of it gets on the side of her mouth. In the very next shot, when Peg runs in, the cheese is no longer on the side of Kelly's mouth.

Buck Saves the Day - S4-E3

Continuity mistake: Al takes the kids camping. When he leaves the house, his shirt is light blue. When he comes out from the bushes in the woods, it's dark blue with red stripes.

Old Insurance Dodge - S7-E24

Continuity mistake: The stolen Dodge is a 1974 model. Peggy tells Kelly that she was conceived in it. However, the episode "Christmas" (Season 7, Episode 12) has a flashback to Christmas 1974, showing both Kelly and Bud. Kelly's height had been marked on a door since 1972.

How Bleen was My Kelly - S10-E5

Continuity mistake: The family assumes Fox Viewing positions suggesting they are using an antenna to get reception. A few episodes earlier, Al changed their cable television channels to all men channels. You don't need antennae if you have cable.

Suggested correction: Cable and antenna isn't an either/or situation. You can have cable but still use an antenna to get a local channel if your cable provider doesn't offer that station.

You Better Shop Around (2) - S5-E22

Continuity mistake: When Jefferson and Marcy are getting ready to take off during the supermarket race, Al sprays the floor with oil causing them to slip. Being that it is fresh oil, their clothes should have oil stains. But in the next scene, Jefferson and Marcy are perfectly clean.

England Show (1) - S6-E24

Continuity mistake: Al and Bud are being hunted because they are the final male Bundys. However, earlier, in Baby Makes Money (Season 4?) Al and Peg went to the funeral Of Al's uncle, Stymie. There were other male Bundys. The heirs had to produce a male heir and name him after Uncle Stymie to get all the inheritance. The 3 England Show episodes all have the premise that Al and Bud are the only male Bundys left.

Field of Screams - S8-E19

Continuity mistake: When the chain is cut with Marcy by Al to release him from the pole, later in the newscast in the background they are showing the cut chain. When on the news, it shows the chain was cut about a foot from the goal post. However when you watch the guy cut the chain for real, he cuts it flush with the pole.

Shoeway to Heaven - S9-E1

Plot hole: When Dominique is on TV, she says she got the shoes from Al's store. Then the Amish guy comes out to confirm she broke her leg from the shoe he made. Al says yes. She got the shoes way before Al knew he had no more shoes and before they even hired the Amish guy. How can she break her leg from his shoe if he wasn't hired and making them yet?

Trivia: When Al asks Marcy why the show "No Pot to Pease In" was cancelled, she responds that a woman in Michigan didn't like it. In Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, a woman named Terry Rakolta started a boycott after watching the episode "Her Cups Runneth Over." The intent was to get Married...With Children taken off the air. Her boycott had the reverse effect as many people started tuning into the show to see why she was boycotting it. Because of this, ratings actually soared and got more viewers.
