Continuity mistake: At the beginning of "Big Pink Loser", Patrick's rock is brown. When Spongebob and Patrick run with each other, out of the Krusty Krab, Spongebob runs into Patrick's rock, painted like Spongebob's pineapple house, yet when Patrick said "I'm going to defend my title" or something like that, the rock is brown. The rock can't possibly paint itself.
SpongeBob's House Party (aka Party Pooper Pants) - S3-E10
Continuity mistake: When Patchy the Pirate is flying through the houses, he finally hits a pole with nothing on him. Yet when Patchy comes screaming back into his hat, he had a broken window in him and wood through his hat.
The Great Snail Race / Mid-Life Crustacean - S3-E15
Continuity mistake: When Patrick and Squidward stick their heads through the windows of Spongebob's house, on the outside you can see that they're next to the front door. But from the inside, their heads are next to a totally different door.

Continuity mistake: When SpongeBob and Mr.Krabs are dragging the health inspector up the hill he doesn't have his hat on, but when he gets hit by the rock his hat is on.

Continuity mistake: In "Squirrel Jokes" when Spongebob drops his mic on the stage and he goes behind the curtain, the mic disappears soon afterward.

Audio problem: In "Squirrel Jokes" when Sandy is in the Bargn'-Mart and she can't decide which deodorant she wants, a fish says, "Maybe she should get both." His mouth says something else.

Continuity mistake: When Spongebob is talking about treasure to Gary, behind him is a door. If you look closely you can see a TV in the room, but when Spongebob and Gary enter the TV is replaced by a door.
Continuity mistake: Gary leaves big saliva trails. When Squidward realizes that Gary leaves these saliva trails, we can see that is a trail in front of Squidward's house. When Squidward tells SpongeBob about these trails in the language of the past, we can see that the trail of the saliva has changed: it bigger and almost in all the scenery. After a while, we see that the road goes directly to Squidward's house, to its door. How did the road change, if we haven't seen Gary moving?
Valentine's Day / The Paper - S1-E16
Continuity mistake: In "Valentine's Day", SpongeBob and Patrick arrive at the fair. They watch the fair. Patrick says "You bought me a fair?", and Patrick runs to the fair. When he starts saying, "Get out of my fair.", we see that SpongeBob is closer to the fair than he was before.
Nature Pants / Opposite Day - S1-E9
Continuity mistake: When Spongebob goes to answer his door, Patrick was obviously in front of the door. After Patrick says, "Spongebob doesn't like me anymore", it cuts to a different shot to show the outside of the front door, and Patrick has moved to the side of the door.
Sailor Mouth / Artist Unknown - S2-E15
Continuity mistake: "In Artist Unknown", when Spongebob creates the statue, the right arm of it is tucked behind it's back and the left arm is bent with the hand resting on the chin. When the art collector jumps onto the head to remove the nose Squidward placed on it, the arms are switched so that the left arm is behind and the right hand is up on the chin. Then, when the art collector carries the statue out, the arms are back in their original positions.
Something Smells / Bossy Boots - S2-E1
Continuity mistake: In Something Smells, when Spongebob jumps on the car and says "am I ugly" you see the guy holding on and he is sitting on the left side of the car, but the next shot of him, he is holding on and now on the right side of the car.
Continuity mistake: When Patrick is dressed as food for the "monster" in "Wormy," when the butterfly is on P,atrick's butt he spits out the apple in his mouth and it floats to the top of the water helmet. But when the butterfly is on his helmet, the apple is gone.
Continuity mistake: In "Sleepy Time" when the neighbours are crowded around Spongebob, Plankton is standing on the end of the bed. When the angle changes, he's gone. Then he jumps onto the bed before Patrick joins them.
Grandma's Kisses / Squidville - S2-E9
Continuity mistake: When Spongebob stops crying, his grandma pulls a plug out of the floor to drain the water, but in a later shot through a window, the plug and hole are gone.
Continuity mistake: If you look carefully, you will notice that on the title sequence, patchy the pirate's eyepatch changes eyes. This varies from episode to episode.
Suggested correction: The eyepatch doesn't change position from episode to episode. You must be thinking of "Christmas Who?" where Patchy accidentally hits himself in the eye with his hook. And the pirate from the theme song's name is Painty the Pirate. Patchy and Painty are two completely different characters.
Jellyfishing / Plankton! - S1-E3
Character mistake: In "Plankton" when Spongebob is in Plankton's lab, he says the ingredients in a Krabby Patty. He doesn't mention the secret sauce.
Your Shoe's Untied / Squid's Day Off - S2-E2
Continuity mistake: In "Your Shoes Untied", when he is in the Krusty Krab kitchen. In between shots when Squidward keeps asking Spongebob to give him the Krabby Patty, the patties on the grill disappear and reappear between shots.
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy III / Squirrel Jokes - S2-E4
Continuity mistake: Before he comes on his second act, there is a front shot of the crowd, you see a guy in the front with his hands up, but in the next shot, which is of his back, his hands are down.
