Let's Go To The Videotape - S4-E7
Continuity mistake: The conversation Tim and the others have at the hardware store becomes a lot different when Jill sees the (supposedly) same conversation on videotape. First of all, Tim's remark the "Jill's speech was so boring" has become "Jill's speech was so DULL". Secondly, Eddie's entire tale on how his wife wanted to change the fabric in the sun room is missing from the tape. And third, when Tim is talking about Jill's psychology studies, the expression "these terms" has become "these USELESS terms".
Ye Olde Shoppe Teacher - S4-E10
Revealing mistake: In this episode, every time Wilson places a log on the block before splitting it, you can see a dark line on top of the log, showing where they were pre-cut.
Ye Olde Shoppe Teacher - S4-E10
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of episode 4.10, "Ye Olde Shoppe Teacher", Tim's lopsided toolbox that he made turns 180 degrees as Jill pushes it away. As Jill and Tim are talking, it turns back. Then it turns 180 degrees again just before Tim briefly leaves the room.
Other mistake: If Jill moved the hotrod back in the garage after it was filled with snow, why isn't there a clean spot where she sat in it to drive it.
Continuity mistake: In the opening segment, as Heidi hands Tim his hot-air gun, he takes it with both hands, then lets go with his left so he's only holding the gun in his right hand. The angle changes, and Tim is once again holding the gun with both hands, before he once again removes his left hand.
Tool Time After Dark (2) - S4-E23
Continuity mistake: When Tim goes outside to talk to Wilson, the distinct three-looped straw he used is still standing in his antacid bottle. When he comes back inside, the bottle is on the table where it was, but the straw has disappeared.
Brother, Can You Spare A Hot Rod? - S4-E14
Visible crew/equipment: When they're working on the blue car, you can see the reflection of the boom mike in the top and bottom chrome of the windshield. The boom mike itself can also be seen at certain points.
Talk To Me - S4-E20
Continuity mistake: When Jill drops the ball down the vent, there are 4 more balls in the stand. When she drops the second ball, there are only 2 balls in the stand, not 3.
Other mistake: Heidi turns off the gas, saying that the shutoff valve has to be moved perpendicular to the pipe to shut off the gas, which is correct. But Heidi actually moves it parallel to the pipe, which turns on the gas.
Revealing mistake: When the hot rod is back in the garage covered in "snow" - look at the color of the car, along with the door when the door is open. There is plastic on the inside of the door (probably to get all of the snow off so quickly) and the color of the hot rod is a lighter shade of blue then normal.
Continuity mistake: When Tim and Al are small and ejected from the vehicle, their coveralls are red, but when Tim is made human sized again his turns into a very dirty grey.
Ye Olde Shoppe Teacher - S4-E10
Continuity mistake: When Mark is sitting on the counter he has both legs hanging off the edge. The shot changes and now one is on the counter and one is hanging off the edge.
The Eyes Don't Have It - S4-E4
Continuity mistake: When Tim and Jill are talking about the letter from school, Tim is holding a can. The shot changes and he is no longer holding the can.
Continuity mistake: When Jill says "Tim, you are almost 40" Tim's hands are at his side, the shot changes and they are now in his pockets.
Continuity mistake: Tim breaks and knocks the crane that Al built off the table. The shot changes and part of the crane is back on the table.
Back In The Saddle Shoes Again - S4-E1
Continuity mistake: In the first scene in the kitchen the clock on the oven reads 12:17. A short time later it reads 6:44.
Talk To Me - S4-E20
Visible crew/equipment: When Tim is singing the blues with Wilson who is playing the harmonica, as they finish the scene, you can see the shadow of the camera rising above the fence as the shot goes up.
Revealing mistake: At the end when Tim and Marty are outside Marty drops the ladder supposedly on Tim's foot, but it never lands close enough to his foot for Tim to get hurt.
Answer: No the guy sent in a picture of himself because he thought he looked like Al. So they brought him on the show as his brother.
