Corrected entry: In season 6, "21 is the loneliest number", Lane and Rory are talking at Rory's birthday party. Lane says "This house is amazing, I've never been here before", when in fact in Season 1 Emily threw Rory a birthday party there that Lane attended.
Corrected entry: Every time some one opens the door to Luke's diner the bell rings, but the door never hits it.
Correction: The bell has a clapper. The bell itself has a clapper which rings by movement. It only needs to have motion to make the clapper hit the inside of the bell and thus ring. It doesn't need to actually hit another object in order to ring.
Corrected entry: When Emily is at Lorelai's home and Lorelai arrives in the car, the sun is not shining. When she gets inside the house moments later, the sun is shining.
Correction: There could have been clouds covering the sun and when Lorelai got in the house the clouds could have left.
Rory's Birthday Parties - S1-E6
Corrected entry: Just when Rory is cutting the cake at her second birthday party, her grandparents arrive. Sookie is the one to bring in the cake, we don't see her leave the room, and if she did she would meet Richard and Emily on the way. But when Lorelei enters the kitchen a little later, Sookie is there and is surprised to hear that they have come, even she was seemingly in the room when they entered.
Correction: It's perfectly possible Sookie didn't see them because you don't have to go through the hall to go to the kitchen, you can go that way but there's another way too.
Dear Emily and Richard - S3-E13
Corrected entry: In this episode, Sherry is giving birth to Georgia and Rory is the only one there with her at the beginning of her pre-delivery status. Sherry is freaking out about work and needs to reschedule all her appointments, so she and Rory do it using a mobile phone. Anyone whose ever been to a hospital or even watched an episode of E.R. would know that mobile phones are not allowed to be used in hospitals. The nurse in the scene even talks to Sherry while Rory is talking on Sherry's mobile phone for her, so it's not as if the staff didn't know about it.
Correction: Cell phones are allowed in maternity wards.
Always a Godmother, Never a God - S6-E4
Corrected entry: In "Christopher Returns" (1-15), Jackson's surname is "Melville". In this episode his surname is "Belleville".
Correction: It's always been Belleville.
Luke Can See Her Face - S4-E20
Corrected entry: Luke pulls up and you see an automatic gear shifter. But in episode 4.2 when Lorelai borrows his truck, it is said that it is a manual transmission.
Correction: Trucks as old as Luke's have the manual shift on the steering wheel and Luke was shifting there.
Corrected entry: In the last scene of the episode, when Rory is questioning Lorelai about money troubles, a crew members elbow becomes visible through the window behind them. As the scene continues the crew member extends their arm into the shot multiple times. (00:40:35 - 00:41:40)
Correction: That is a reflection of Rory's arm.
One's Got Class and the Other One Dyes - S3-E4
Corrected entry: As Lorelai and Luke are leaving his apartment after she made him change his shirt when they're going to talk at the school, she tells him that Jess has a girl in the closet. Jess later confirms that it's true and that the girl is Shane. At the same time Shane is working at the beauty shop, selling hair dye to Lane. We see her both before and after she's supposed to be in the closet (since Lane freaks out and dyes her hair back to black), so there's no way she could have got off work and gone over to Jess after.
Correction: Lane actually buys the hair dye the day before. Notice that Rory is wearing her Chilton uniform and Shane has on a brown shirt. The next day, when Rory goes back to buy the black dye, she is in jeans and Shane has on a purple shirt. This takes place after Luke and Lorelai have left for the school. So, there was plenty of time for Shane to leave Jess's closet and go to work.
Twenty-One Is the Loneliest Number - S6-E7
Corrected entry: Rory is talking to Logan at her birthday party about how the reverend talked to her about her virginity being a gift. She says that Logan's got that gift now, but that's not true - she lost her virginity to Dean, not to Logan.
Correction: If Rory for some reason wanted Logan to think he was her first boy she made love to even though it's not true, it isn't a mistake, it's a character choice.
I would believe it to be the character misspeaking in the craziness of the story (because surely that is what the reverend believed to be true), but I doubt that Rory was lying to Logan about being a virgin when they met - especially given that Logan actually met Dean the night of the breakup.
Correction: Lane never went to the birthday party Emily threw for Rory in season one.
