Other mistake: After Jack and Rachel tell everyone they broke up and Angela says to Shawn "Friends, okay?", the camera is noticeably out of focus and then comes into focus when Shawn says "Hate you or love you..." (00:05:10)
For Love and Apartments - S7-E2
Other mistake: When Cory is trying to get Topanga's parents to reconcile, Topanga's mother mentions to her ex-husband about the "beautiful child they've made." Given that she says "child" in the singular, this can only refer to Topanga. However, the season 1 episode She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not established that Topanga had an older sister named Nebula. So the mistake is that either the show is acting like a character that was firmly established never existed, or Topanga's mother doesn't realise she has at least two children. (00:15:32)
For Love and Apartments - S7-E2
Character mistake: When Shawn is scolding Topanga for getting angry with Cory for travelling to Pittsburgh to try to get her parents back together, he mentions that he travelled a hundred miles to do so. Philadelphia is roughly 300 miles from Pittsburgh. Travelling only 100 miles westward from Philadelphia would barely get them past Hershey. (00:17:53)
No Such Thing as a Sure Thing - S7-E4
Revealing mistake: When the family is eating dinner, throughout the scene you can see Jack dabbing his fork into his mashed potatoes and raising the fork to his mouth with little to no potatoes on it in order to give the illusion that he is eating. (00:03:57 - 00:05:05)
No Such Thing as a Sure Thing - S7-E4
Continuity mistake: In this episode, and a few others, it's stated that Topanga's mother's name is Rhiannon, yet in earlier episodes Topanaga said that her mother's name was Chloe.
No Such Thing as a Sure Thing - S7-E4
Revealing mistake: The pitchfork that the Amish girl throws at Eric at the end of the episode is obviously made of rubber, as it wobbles when he catches it.
Revealing mistake: When Eric tells Cory and Shawn that the hot chocolates were $4, Cory looks up at the prices and says "that's the retail price." As the scene and the rest of the episode go on, if you pay close attention to the sign that has all the prices, hot chocolate is not an item.
Revealing mistake: When Eric picks up Cory to show him the "For He's A Jolly Good Fellow" dance, Cory screams that Eric is going to knock over the candles, upon which one of the candles on the desk is knocked over and sets fire to the curtains. If you look closely, neither Eric or Cory bump any of the candles nor the desk they are on, the candle just tips over on its own, suggesting an off-screen crew member used wire or string to pull the candle down. (00:07:18)
Continuity mistake: When Morgan is telling Topanga that she wouldn't use her bridesmaid's dress to wipe her ass, she gets cut off by Alan who covers her mouth with his left hand and then begins dragging her out of the reception hall. When the shot changes, he is covering her mouth with his right hand. (00:17:22)
Revealing mistake: The firefighters, apparently the fastest men in the universe, appear no more than 10 seconds after the fire starts.
Continuity mistake: When Shawn stands up on the chair to propose a toast, Eric is at his 9 o'clock. When shot changes, Shawn has instantly rotated his body so that Eric is now at his 6 o'clock. (00:16:47)
Revealing mistake: When Topanga is "naked" under the cover, at one point, you can see a large corner of her bra. (00:02:58)
Continuity mistake: When the voice on the intercom is saying "Paging Dr. Chocolate Pudding," Cory's right hand is on Topanga's right arm, and her hands are in her lap. When the shot changes, both of his hands are suddenly resting on his stomach, and her right hand is suddenly resting on his left leg. (00:07:23)
Revealing mistake: When Cory opens up the curtains of his bungalow to show Topanga the beach, you can tell the background is just a backdrop, as there are no waves approaching the shore. (00:10:36)
Continuity mistake: When Cory is "The Coconut Guy" he is showing Jay Leno, David Letterman and Arnold Schwarzenegger. When Topanga comes to the shop Cory knocks the Arnold Schwarzenegger coconut down but in the next shot, it is perfectly straight up. (00:12:04)
Continuity mistake: When the spider is walking on Eric, it makes it past his fingers and has some legs on his wrist before the shot changes. In the next shot, the spider is still walking on his fingers. (00:16:17)
Visible crew/equipment: When Topanga carries Cory into the room you can see a crew member's hand triggering the doors to open.
Factual error: When Cory and Topanga first enter their new couples dorm, they discover it to be a dump. The entire dorm is filthy, cabinets are falling apart, there are large bugs crawling on the floor, and there is no clean running water. Student housing laws would require the university to restore the dorm to liveable conditions before any student could move in. If the health department saw the conditions of the room, the university would undoubtedly be fined for failing to take corrective action. (00:07:45 - 00:10:36)
Character mistake: At one point Cory is telling Shawn about how he can't protect Topanga and they've only been married for one week. But they spent their wedding night in jail, 12 days on their honeymoon and 1 night in their new apartment. So actually the couple have been married for 2 weeks.
Plot hole: At the beginning of the episode, Eric and Jack call the cops on Luther for planning an illegal rave at the college, but the cops let him go because he had not started the rave. He still broke into the student union building, and therefore should have still been arrested. He even threatens Eric and Jack afterwards right in front of the cops, and they do nothing about it.
