You Can Go Home Again - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode, when Cory and Topanga are kissing, Shawn says "Hey, I'm talking to you", hits Topanga on the arm and her hair gets messed up. When the shot changes to a wider view, her hair is not messed up. The position of Topanga's arms wrapped around Cory also changes.

I Ain't Gonna Spray Lettuce No More - S4-E3

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of this episode, Cory asks Alan for money for his class photo. When Alan asks what grade Cory is in now, Cory says 11th. However, at the end of the previous season, Cory had just finished 9th grade (he and Shawn are both 15) and he spent his summer traveling the country with Eric. He should be in 10th grade, not 11th. This is further complicated later in the season, when he turns 16 and gets his driver's license. If he was in 11th grade, he would have already turned 16 and gone through driver's ed.

Suggested correction: This is too vague. There are literally dozens of women that leave the stage whenever Eric answers a question. Describe what these women look like and what they are wearing.

Dangerous Secret - S4-E8

Continuity mistake: When Cory and Topanga are kissing and he puts his hand in her shirt, she stops him and says "what did you think was going to happen tonight?" Then she puts her hand on her lap. In the next shot, her hand is back on his shoulder.

An Affair to Forget - S4-E11

Continuity mistake: When Eric is performing his one-man show, he states in the intro that he was born on June 24, 1978. However, in the season 1 episode "It's a Wonderful Night," Eric fails his test to get his driver's license. That episode takes place during the middle of the school year, but if Eric was born in late June, he would have had to wait until after, or at the least the very end of the school year to try and get his license, as the minimum age in Pennsylvania for obtaining a driver's license is sixteen.

Easy Street - S4-E12

Continuity mistake: In this episode Alan says that Eric woke him up on his 16th birthday to get his driver's license and it's a tradition for the men of their family to go with their fathers and get their license, however in season 1 when Eric does get his license, he says that Amy and Alan let him go off with Jason to get his license and there was no celebration.

B & B's B'n B - S4-E13

Continuity mistake: When Eric is suggesting to Mr. Feeny that they go out and look for women, some shots show Feeny gripping his wine glass, while other shots show his hands down on the table with the glass several inches away.

B & B's B'n B - S4-E13

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Timmer picks up the mini vase, just before Cory tells him to put it down, you can see he is the only one touching it. When the shot changes, Mr. Timmer and his wife are both holding onto it. Cory also instantly has his left arm raised and index finger pointed at the Timmers.

B & B's B'n B - S4-E13

Continuity mistake: When the bartender fills up the mug of root beer, after the foam settles, the mug is a little more than half full. When Mr. Feeny hands the mug to Eric, it is suddenly filled closer to the top.

Chick Like Me - S4-E15

Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the show, Cory is showing Shawn something he wrote in the school paper. Cory walks away leaving his backpack on the bench. In this whole scene to the point where Cory says, "Is it just me or is it just me" sometimes he is wearing his backpack, and sometimes he isn't. (00:00:20 - 00:03:05)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: The age gap between Eric and Cory decreases as the series progresses. At the start of the show, Cory is in 6th grade and Eric is a high school sophomore, meaning they are four years apart, give or take a few months. By season 3, Cory is in 9th grade (confirmed by dialogue mentioning that Shawn, who is in the same grade as Cory, is 15 years old), and Eric is a senior, leading to an age gap of three years. The first episode of season 4 takes place a couple months after the end of season 3, with Eric and Cory returning from a summer Road Trip, but just two episodes later, Cory mentions that he is in 11th grade, while Eric is still barely out of high school, leading to an age gap of two years.

Me and Mr. Joad - S2-E4

Mr. Feeny: I realise that all you 7th-graders are delicate, adolescent flowers, just beginning your high school blooming. And so I say this with utmost sensitivity: take this test, or die!

Janitor Dad - S4-E6

Question: When Chet and Verna are arguing about Chet getting a job, visible in the background is a painting of what I believe is an oak tree on a yellow background. Does anybody know the name and/or artist of this painting? My Grandparents used have a painting similar to it (if not the same one) and it also looks very similar to (and possibly the inspiration for) the cover art for the debut album of the band Days of the New.

Answer: I learned the answer to this one today. It is "Tree of Life" by Garé Barks.
