Continuity mistake: When Jake plays the piano the music on the sheet changes. Notice the big gap on the sheet which gets smaller. I know the sheet is changed, but the gap still changes.
Continuity mistake: Peter says "Oh crap" as soon as he realises Ernie the Giant Chicken is looking at him in the window. When the camera pans over to Ernie, he is standing an inch away from the glass. It then cuts to a wide angle where Ernie jumps through the window, and he has instantly moved back a few inches. Continuity mistake: At the start of Peter's fight with the Big Chicken, Peter is slammed into the wall, which cracks. After Peter gets up, the wall behind him is perfectly fine again. (00:07:05)
Continuity mistake: When the family goes to Morning Wood Academy, the sign in the front says No Irish and Irish OK underneath that. The next time we see the sign, those words are replaced with the date the academy was founded.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode Chris is taking his suitcase upstairs. He walks in front the couch where everyone is sitting and heads towards the stairs. Next shot shows him walking behind the couch as if he entered the front door and walked behind the couch and over to the stairs.
Continuity mistake: In the restaurant scene during the chicken fight, after Peter says "oh yeah? What are ya gonna do about it?" the chicken already has a black eye just before they begin fighting.
Continuity mistake: In the flashbacks to 1984, Peter and Lois are both 18, but in a previous episode, Lois says that she's two years younger than Peter.
Chosen answer: It's a real song called "Elvira". Originally by Dallas Fraizer in '66, however, this version seems to be the Oak Ridge Boys cover version. However, the mega lesbians skip the verse and just sing the chorus after the opening line.
