Continuity mistake: When Sam goes over to talk to the guy sitting at the table, the door opens and someone walks in, the shot changes and the person has disappeared.
Visible crew/equipment: In the opening scene after Sam says "I think this calls for drastic measures" there is a shadow of the camera on the wall behind Norm.
Trivia: When they were deciding on what sport the character Sam Malone would play they originally chose football but ultimately decided baseball would work better.

Question: Is it true they wanted to get Glenn Close to make a cameo as Vera Peterson in the last episode? I swear I saw photos in an entertainment mag of her filming a scene for the final episode, with the joke being Norm's long-insulted wife was actually very beautiful and classy.
