Continuity mistake: In the "Previously on 24" segment, after obtaining the memory chip, Jack says "We got the chip." In the previous episode, however, he says "We got it." (00:01:15)

Audio problem: When Tony tells Michelle that he told the president about the chip Jack found, they cut to a different angle, and Tony is still speaking, but his lips aren't moving.
Andre Drazen: If Plan A fails you go to Plan B, not Plan A recycled.
Trivia: Lou Diamond Phillips made two appearances on the show, as Mark DeSalvo, the security chief where Victor Drazen is being held. Philips and star Kiefer Sutherland are known for having worked together in Young Guns and Young Guns 2.

Chosen answer: Nobody knew, not even the writers, until at least halfway through the season when they were writing the end. They wanted to keep all options open.
