Power Rangers in Space

Show generally

Revealing mistake: We can see Ecliptor's zipper from behind - slightly revealing on Saban's part, considering Ecliptor is supposed to be an evil monster henchman of Astromena's.

Show generally

Plot hole: For the past 5 series, Bulk and Skull have been in every episode. They've seen villains from other galaxies (Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, The Machine Empire, and Divatox) who have all sent monsters to Angel Grove and threatened Bulk and Skull on countless occasions. They've even been turned into monkeys and made invisible by space creatures. Why do they feel the need to spend Series 6 seeing if alien life exists? Surely 5 series worth of aliens is enough proof?

Suggested correction: Bulk and Skull are very dim witted and would like to find alien life so they can get famous, not realising everyone knows alien life exists.

Ssiscool

They are very dim-witted but surely not that dim-witted.

Suggested correction: They do not spend the series seeing if alien life exists. Their first scene in the season is them spotting Astronema's ship through a telescope and yelling UFO. They know. It's another one of their kooky schemes to get rich by being the first to discover these aliens and getting rich off it. (they were out looking for an undiscovered comet) They even get Professor Phenomena who's already been doing this before they were. It always felt like a play on Peter Parker getting rich off selling photos of Spiderman. But, dumber. I mean come on they tried catching a rabbit with carrots because they thought it was an alien. Stupid idea yes. Plot hole. No. It tracks with their characters.

Suggested correction: Think about it They have no reason to believe that they are aliens from space. They look human or could have been created by humans. It could have been a form of magic. Plus we never know what the news or the government is telling the public to normalize these situations. They don't actually know where they came from.

DetectiveGadget85

This is only a theory. Theories never solve mistakes.

No one in Angel Grove, believes them when they say they've seen aliens. It's been a running gag since Zeo. Go back and look at King For a Day Part II, after they got back from being kidnapped. Even the professor is viewed as a kook for believing in the existence of aliens.

From Out of Nowhere: Part 1 - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: In "Chase Into Space part 2", the Rangers and Alpha were covered in dirt, and their clothes were ripped and torn. While their clothes are still slightly ripped and torn, they are now completely clean of any dirt.

Suggested correction: It's a space shuttle meant for travel to another planet (that's a whole other discussion). One would assume there would be a bathroom or some other amenities for astronauts to clean themselves up.

DetectiveGadget85

From Out of Nowhere: Part 2 - S1-E2

Plot hole: Andros leaves the Shuttle on the remote planet, then later returns. Not long after the Astro Megaship lands, it is attacked - the Rangers quickly retreat and take off. The Rangers could not have formed the Astro Megazord later on in the episode, as they left the Space Shuttle on the remote planet (the Shuttle serves as the head of the Astro Megazord).

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: They formed the megazord not far from the planet as they detected the enemy ships using their short range sensors. Alpha was on the megaship trying to solve the code for the megazord. There was plenty of time to grab the shuttle while the rangers were fighting after the ship landed.

Save Our Ship - S1-E3

Factual error: Ashley tells Andross she will teach him how to play pool, yet they are playing snooker. They are even using snooker balls.

Suggested correction: Considering the size and color of the balls. That's pool.

DetectiveGadget85

Never Stop Searching - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: Bulk throws a watermelon in the air. When it lands on his head, its texture changes from darker to lighter, and the "watermelon lines" aren't as visible - this couldn't have been caused by the watermelon splitting, as half of it stayed on Bulk's head.

The Craterite Invasion - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: The entire episode, the Astro Megaship is shown orbiting the Earth, yet a few minutes after the Craterites appear, they are parachuting out of the Astro Megaships. Not only were they not shown to have grabbed parachutes when jumping out, but the Megaship wasn't even in the Earth's atmosphere.

Suggested correction: They simulate hard hats clothes and other material to take the forms of people on Earth. Considering they're simulations themselves. They created the parachutes. It would be mass suicide otherwise. Some escape plan.

Suggested correction: Their pants are still in front of the truck where they left them in every shot of that side of the truck. They are there.

The Delta Discovery - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: Piranatrons have always been small and weak - their appearance hadn't changed for 2 series and a film. Yet when Quadtrons and Piranatrons are fighting the Phantom Ranger, the Piranatrons are noticeably taller and larger than normal, when standing behind Divatox. Divatox has ALWAYS been bigger and taller than Piranatrons.

Suggested correction: That is an impossible detail to notice considering she has an army of them...and they squat most of the time. You can't definitively state that all of them have been shorter than her while standing and the ones in the movie are indeed different. You can't say that just because this one time when two are standing taller than her...that they ALL are small and weak.

DetectiveGadget85

Grandma Matchmaker - S1-E13

Continuity mistake: The police car the Grandmother steals changes - its colours, position of sirens, license plate, and the inclusion of Japanese writing on the side change back and forth as the episode goes on.

The Barillian Sting - S1-E14

Continuity mistake: Andross shoots down a Barillian bug from behind a tree, and his Galaxy Glider is behind him. When he runs into the field to meet TJ, his Galaxy Glider is now in the open field, with there being no evidence of it moving, or being moved.

The Rangers' Leap of Faith - S1-E28

Continuity mistake: When the Astro Megaship enters the Jungle Planet's atmosphere, there is a strong thunderstorm going on. However, when they land, seconds later, there is a clear blue sky, and no sign of a thunderstorm.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: They're traveling horizontally through the clouds not down into them. Since TJ changes course they flew out of the storm.

DetectiveGadget85

Dark Specter's Revenge: Part 1 - S1-E29

Factual error: Bulk, Skull, and the Professor try to get in a Apollo Saturn V rocket to escape Earth. They head up the tower, and are seen getting into the ship via the thin pillar at the top - this pillar was used in case there was an emergency early on in the launch. Astronauts got into the ship in the Command Module, which was slightly lower down.

Carlos on Call - S1-E32

Continuity mistake: Throughout the series, the Rangers' morphing has been instantaneous. Anyone who has ever been in a photobooth will know that they take a good minute or so to get through all 4 photos (which is what Sophie picks up) - it has never taken Carlos, or any Ranger, that long to morph.
