Other mistake: The episode opens with Ranma eating an ice cream with Akane. He (in female form) acts as he never had one before and Akane says "Don't tell me you've never had ice cream before!", and that's the case, apparently. But, episode 11 opened exactly with Ranma charming a shop owner into handing "her" a cone, commenting that "when it comes to eating out, being a girl is the only way to go." (00:02:00)

Other mistake: Not getting too deep into the obvious absurdity of the gag (I don't think a prospect husband would be too impressed if you serve him a pig complete with everything, obviously poorly cooked and don't even take off the bandanna/collar it is wearing!), it has to be noted that the bandanna Ryoga is wearing is covered with hibiscus sauce in the first shot, but clean in the following. Other mistake: Ranma chased by Shampoo at the end of the episode jumps down from the roof. He leaps at a distance from the wall, and he is supposedly in a rush to escape the pursuit, but Nabiki is able to pour from the kettle on his head when he is close to the wall and not in a rush to move away from that spot. Continuity mistake: Shampoo tries to use her shampoo technique on Akane a second time, but Ranma protects her. She gets caught with the right foot, in close-up too, but at the cut the leg behind is the left one. (00:05:00)

Continuity mistake: In the full view of the room as Akane looks at Shampoo kissing Ranma, the weapons on the floor have disappeared - in the next shot of course Akane picks one up and throws it at them. (00:11:50)

Continuity mistake: After the fiasco with Tofu, Ranma is packing to go to China; the floor is segmented differently in the various angles at the beginning of the scene with Nabiki opening the door. (00:08:10)

Continuity mistake: Discussing Tofu's finances, Akane leans on Nabiki's bed warning her about messing with the poor clueless man. In the overhead shots Akane's torso and arms are drawn much higher than her position should be, as if she were standing by the bed or be closer to it, while in the other views she's on her knees and just leaning forward. Continuity mistake: When Saotome narrates the technique he saw Shampoo perform on Akane, he is holding the tea cup in his hands; hand position and polka dot pattern vary between the two shots. (00:19:20)

Audio problem: This episode is basically a clip show; the English dub reused lines of female Ranma without redubbing the first ones, from the first episodes with Brigitta Dau. Therefore female Ranma has noticeably two different voices in the same episode.

Continuity mistake: Akane and Ranma watch Dr. Tofu as he begins to mess things up being all flustered by handling Kasumi's dish. Close to them by the entrance, a red book and a teal book are piled together in the overhead shot, but curiously enough, we see in 2 separate shots that follow first the red book only, then the teal book only, both in the same spot as earlier. Sukeban no me ni namida? Rûru muyou no kakutou shintaisou kecchaku - S1-E13
Plot hole: In the anime, Ranma commits an unsanctioned violation of the rules when she throws Kodachi out of the ring (the time when she gets saved from her schoolmates); she in fact grabs Kodachi's arms using legs and feet, and projects her. In the original manga there is no such mistake; Ranma used her feet to spin the club Kodachi was holding, so was not throwing Kodachi directly, but using the tool just as the rules say. (00:15:45)

Other mistake: Throughout the episode, the English translation greatly misses the joke when it comes to the nature of the fight; the referee keeps replying to Akane's protests "The tools she has are legal" or "she is using legal tools", while the real catch in the rules (and correct translation) would be "using tools is legal", which taken literally means that any tool, even the obviously lethal and unplanned ones, are fair to use, anything goes as long as it's a foreign object and not a bodypart.
Ranma o gekiai! Shintaisou no sukeban toujou - S1-E11
Continuity mistake: Kodachi is standing in front of the window spinning her ribbon and creating a storm of black rose petals. Cut to Akane, and Kodachi jumps away off-screen. When Akane stands in front of the window, the mess in the room is much greater (which could be understandable) but the books on her desk have also changed color. (00:14:50)
Ranma o gekiai! Shintaisou no sukeban toujou - S1-E11
Continuity mistake: In the wide shot opening the episode, the girl to the right of the 'mysterious' girl (turning out to be Kodachi) has a bandage on the right knee up to about half her thigh, but it's gone in the next shot. Notice also the girl in the middle not having any band-aid on her left cheek, while she does when Ranma walks in on them after getting ice cream. (00:01:50)
