Continuity mistake: Kodachi does her "Attack of the 1,000 clubs" engaging Ranma on the third rope. Ranma then disperses the clubs with the volleyball attack, but somehow Kodachi, who has not moved, is standing on the opposite side of the ring instead of by the ropes. (00:07:00)

Plot hole: In the anime, Ranma commits an unsanctioned violation of the rules when she throws Kodachi out of the ring (the time when she gets saved from her schoolmates); she in fact grabs Kodachi's arms using legs and feet, and projects her. In the original manga there is no such mistake; Ranma used her feet to spin the club Kodachi was holding, so was not throwing Kodachi directly, but using the tool just as the rules say. (00:15:45)

Other mistake: Throughout the episode, the English translation greatly misses the joke when it comes to the nature of the fight; the referee keeps replying to Akane's protests "The tools she has are legal" or "she is using legal tools", while the real catch in the rules (and correct translation) would be "using tools is legal", which taken literally means that any tool, even the obviously lethal and unplanned ones, are fair to use, anything goes as long as it's a foreign object and not a bodypart.

Other mistake: In the previous episode, Kuno was watching the match from the St. Hebereke stands, which would make sense since he's cheering for their champion, for the first time. In this episode, he's in the Furikan stands, with Ranma's supporters.

Continuity mistake: Akane and Ranma watch Dr. Tofu as he begins to mess things up being all flustered by handling Kasumi's dish. Close to them by the entrance, a red book and a teal book are piled together in the overhead shot, but curiously enough, we see in 2 separate shots that follow first the red book only, then the teal book only, both in the same spot as earlier. Continuity mistake: The altar brought in by Tofu's mother is a big one (Ranma comments as such), but it's much smaller when everyone prays to it a few moments later. (00:03:35)

In the overhead shots Akane's torso and arms are drawn much higher than her position should be, as if she were standing by the bed or be closer to it, while in the other views she's on her knees and just leaning forward. Other mistake: The episode opens with Ranma eating an ice cream with Akane. He (in female form) acts as he never had one before and Akane says "Don't tell me you've never had ice cream before!", and that's the case, apparently. But, episode 11 opened exactly with Ranma charming a shop owner into handing "her" a cone, commenting that "when it comes to eating out, being a girl is the only way to go." (00:02:00)

Continuity mistake: Ranma runs away from Shampoo's first assault. There's an establishing shot of the 'Pand' cafe, and you can see the big hole in the wall. In the next shot, when Akane points her to the wrong direction, you can also see toppled furniture and a dude poking his head out of the wall, not matching the earlier view. (00:03:55)

Continuity mistake: In the flashback to the first meeting in China, Ranma dodges Shampoo's assault hopping on top of the metal ball of her chuí mace. Seen from behind, the corn ear in her mouth is turned the opposite way compared to the other views, as you can tell by the cob. (00:06:10)
