Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Jason is holding the newspaper. He starts to hand it to Maggie, the shot changes, and she is already holding the paper.
Mike: Did you see that movie, Taxi Driver?
Girl: Didn't Danny DeVito play a guy named Louie?
Trivia: In one episode when Jason and Maggie are arguing, one of the kids comes in and said "Have you seen dad?" - and Mike responds with "Tall guy, good hair, looks like a talk show host?" - the next person comes in and asks if they have seen mom, and Mike said "Blonde, pretty, looks like Donna Devorona?" (who was an Olympian at that time). Jason (Alan Thicke) used to have a talk show in Canada called Thick of the Night, and Joanna Kerns is the sister of Olympian Donna Devorona.
