Episode #3.2 - S3-E2
Other mistake: Camille shows Humph some bank statements. Susie's is unreadable at normal speed, while you can tell that Carl Collins' is a January 2014 statement, and Arnold Finch's is a March 2013 one, not quite comparable nor really making sense being so outdated. His totals don't add up at all, either, supposedly being on the brink of financial ruin but with 12,000 in the account after a positive of 4,000, an in payment of 1,200 and a long series of withdrawals and payments. (00:34:00)
Episode #3.4 - S3-E4
Other mistake: Humph points out a suspiciously large cash transfer that happened 'three months ago'. On the bank statement, the transfer is shown as happening on Feb 3, so we should be around May. The security footage Dwayne reviews established that the murder happened on the 7th of March. (00:22:00)
Episode #3.4 - S3-E4
Other mistake: When Camille checks out Natasha's bank statement (a picture of it, which is kinda odd as you'd expect another file format), it contains amongst many other payments also a cash transfer to Paul Bevans for €10,000, but the subtotals do not reflect that at all (from over 18k Euros goes to 12k). There is also the not negligible detail that her name is misspelled in her own bank account; she is "Natasha Thiebert" but the statement spells it "Tieebert." (00:22:05)
Episode #3.4 - S3-E4
Other mistake: When Dwayne stalks Simone, his sidecar is smack in the middle of the driveway when she approaches; he drives away towards the left but he is then lurking on the right side of the road as she drives off. All of that with his front light on. Not even a blind person could Miss it, and he'd have to swerve wildly to get in that sort of position. (00:28:10)
Episode #3.4 - S3-E4
Other mistake: The phone records Fidel shows are of February, with Valentine's day being the latest entry. It is inconsistent with practically any other inconsistent bit of the episode (bank statements in February listed as 3 months prior, security camera of March, fingerprint file dated February 9th). (00:37:15)
Episode #3.4 - S3-E4
Other mistake: Twice in the episode Fidel gets from the computer a fingerprint match for Adam Frost. The date of the sample is February 10th, which not only is inconsistent with the supposed timeline of the episode (the security camera puts the murder on March 7th, and the previous episode was set in the fourth week of March as per the gigolo's appointment schedule). but also differs from Natasha's fingerprint date, February 9th. The murder was discovered in the morning, so the victim's prints have been taken the same day as the suspects'.
Episode #3.7 - S3-E7
Other mistake: Camille is the fastest reader ever; she holds the newspaper for TWO seconds and already she can tell that Valerie's dad lost his business because of Jackson (which is something the article itself, if you check it out on freeze-frame, does not say, incidentally - even if it did, she couldn't extrapolate the information this quickly from the page). (00:33:15)
Episode #3.8 - S3-E8
Other mistake: The timestamps on the CCTV screenshots indicate that the murder happened in early March (since they are from early February and they go back one month), but March already passed in previous episodes of the same season (gigolo calendar, bank statements). (00:29:00)
Answer: There's probably no particular reason. Sets and props on long-running TV shows often change as needed and for various reasons throughout a series run.
