Continuity mistake: A shovel is attached to the wall of the Snow Goose behind Dr. Quest. When the guards come to take him, the shovel disappears.
Continuity mistake: The book Jonny reads under the palm tree shows it being opened and flat from the rear view, but the front shows the right half of the book is lower than the left half.
Audio problem: When Trina tells Race and Dr. Quest her husband is to be a gift to the Po-Ho god "Ranio", Quest's mouth says "Ranio?" but with Race's voice.
Continuity mistake: The fuel cans in Race's boat change color: one is red, the other lavender, then both become red.
Audio problem: When Jonny and Hadji are in the boat waiting for Race' return, Bandit starts growling and barking, but Bandit is not grimacing or moving his mouth as he growls and barks.
Plot hole: Dr. Quest is speaking through the Dragonfly's speakers to the Po-Hos as they fly over the jungle, telling them he is their air God and is angry the tribe has taken hostages. Quest could have told the Po-Hos to just release the hostages, rather than putting himself in danger later on by getting captured.
Other mistake: It is established that Drs. Quest and Hartman speak the Po-Ho's language, but when they are captured, Dr. Hartman is translating to Dr. Quest how the Po-Hos are going to torture them.
Continuity mistake: After Dr. Quest's jet lands, Bandit greets him, stopping under the plane and close to the plane's nose wheel. The view from the plane's interior and out the window shows Bandit further away from the plane.
Continuity mistake: A chain attached to the coupler pin of the rail car disappears in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: The logo "Indian State Railway" on the side of the train car carrying the Quest party disappears in later shots.
Continuity mistake: Close ups of Race's face shows his head visible as it sticks out of the blanket near Pasha's left boot. Medium-wide shots do not show Race's head sticking out of the blanket.
Continuity mistake: Hadji is playing his flute in the corner of a wall. When Bandit runs to him, Hadji is now sitting further left and out of the corner.
Continuity mistake: Dr. Quest is caught in an avalanche and loses his goggles and backpack on the way down the slope. When he hits bottom, his goggles and backpack are back on.
Continuity mistake: On the controls of Dr. Quest's Parapower Ray gun, the oscilloscope has no meters or knobs next to it, but close-ups show the meters and knobs are there.
Continuity mistake: After Bandit pulls the robot's eye from the wreckage of the spaceship, the long wires emanating from the back of the eye disappear and reappear.
