Continuity mistake: Dr. Seward is attacked by Brownfield. She hits him on the head with a heavy ashtray. He falls on the floor. First you see his body facing left. In the next shot, his body is facing right.
Factual error: The camera is scanning under the bed where Vanessa is lying and shows an ashtray full of cigarette butts. The cigarette butts have filters. Filters weren't invented until 1934, but the show is set in the 1800's.
