Clayman does not have special abilities, and monsters without abilities are shaded yellow, and monsters with abilities are shaded yellow. Monsters that have no special abilities (which Sparkman does not) are shaded yellow, whereas monsters that do have abilities are shaded orange, so there is no reason for the Sparkman card to be shaded orange here.
