Other mistake: It shows an eagle-eye view of the downed plane with the pontoons floating separate from the plane; the plane starts to sink more and Agent Keen incorrectly says that one of the pontoons is taking on more water, even though they aren't attached to the plane and keeping it afloat anymore. Natalie Luca (No. 184) - S4-E12
Audio problem: At the end of the episode when Reddington goes to see Natalie Luca (behind glass), he tells her that the woman she killed at the massage parlour was an associate of his. When Natalie says "She said if I didn't kill him, she would tell Hawthorne where to find us", her lips don't match what she's saying in the reflection of the glass.
The Troll Farmer (No. 38) - S3-E1
Continuity mistake: When Solomon forces Isabella to take a photo of her baby and send it to him, the picture she takes is different to the one he receives. Note the position of her baby's hands and stuffed Panda.
Continuity mistake: When the plane is about to land the landing gear is deployed. After the abort order, the plane flies low over the landing strip, and the landing gear is up. When it ascends the landing gear is deployed again. (00:34:40)
Continuity mistake: When Keen enters Red's Bethesda apartment, the camera pans over pictures on the mantel. Directly left of the picture of a little girl/man on a swing, is a picture of a woman holding hands with 2 children (looks like 1980's, adult woman looks like Keen.) When Keen reaches out to pickup/view the swing picture, the woman/children picture is no longer there and a really old family photo is in its place. (00:21:25)
Factual error: The FBI logo on the projector screen is not the actual FBI logo. There are supposed to be 3 red stripes and 2 white stripes. There are supposed to only be 13 stars, 6 more have been added next to the scale. There are less than 46 leaves on what are supposed to be Laurel Leaf branches. [The differences can't be intentional, as "unauthorized use" of the FBI seal only applies where a situation might be construed to imply that the FBI approves its use, not the case in a fictional TV program.] (00:38:45 - 00:41:15)
Visible crew/equipment: After Reddington warns Liz of the Wendigo, he leaves, and the camera pans out. We see the entire set: Liz on the couch, the stage with the entire set, the theater seating, camera ladders, the lighting, etc. (00:04:40)
Suggested correction: This is a theatre used for plays, and it's Red's temporary safehouse for Liz. In the previous episode, The Djinn (No. 43), Red talks about this theatre owned by Gerta. Red says, "Her theatre is ours as long as we need it." So, Red and Liz are using it to hide out.
Factual error: The stolen Sienese School painting is painted on canvas. Nobody painted on canvas in the 14th century, wood panels were solely used.
Factual error: When Tom uses Lena's glove to trigger the fingerprint reader he failed to realise it would provide the mirror image of the print. (00:22:59)
Lord Baltimore (No. 104) - S2-E1
Other mistake: When Rowan shoots the suited men with the sniper rifle, the camera angle shows members of the public watching the filming and filming the the production on their phones. (00:28:46)
Abraham Stern (No. 100) - S5-E11
Character mistake: Reddington says that the 1943 pennies he is hunting are special because they were made of bronze when all other pennies were made of copper. The 1943 pennies were actually the steel pennies from WWII as to save copper for the war efforts, there were some copper errors that year, but the majority were zinc and not copper.
The Travel Agency (No. 90) - S5-E6
Factual error: The scene in 1989 has a VHS/DVD recorder in the left bottom corner. (00:01:00)
Alexander Kirk: Conclusion - S3-E23
Factual error: Airport Abel Santamaria is not in Baracoa, but in Santa Clara. Baracoa airport's name is Gustavo Rizo.
Continuity mistake: When Agent Keen first finds Tom's blue key in the base of the lamp she places it on the whiteboard in her op centre, however when she realises that she has to play along with Tom, she is seen putting it back when it was in the base of the lamp. The next time she takes it, it is back on the whiteboard again.
Leonard Caul (No. 62) - S2-E19
Other mistake: When Reddington is close to death and is saved by a lung/heart operation in his field hospital, minutes after the operation the site is attacked and Red is left trying to defend himself from gunmen. Not only does he find the strength to pull out all the monitor wires and lines attached to him, but when he goes into the corridor to get a gun, he is fully dressed in jacket and trousers (pants). Did the very efficient hospital team forget to bring a hospital gown for him to wear? Did they operate on him while he was wearing his street clothes?
The Mombasa Cartel (No. 114) - S2-E6
Factual error: The episode starts with a scene of a household in Koidu, Sierra Leone where a family is killed and boy taken. Mombasa is an island town on the coast of Kenya, not Sierra Leone. Mombasa wouldn't have a village or poachers or wild animals because it is an urban area. And Red later on reveals that the boy who was taken after the family was killed was actually Dembe, whom he found tied up in a brothel in Nairobi, which would again place them in Kenya, not Sierra Leone. Dembe would be an appropriate name for a person from Sierra Leone, not Mombasa.
