Continuity mistake: When Ash tells Corphish to use Bubble Beam after Team Rocket's Pokémon during the first battle, his bag disappears. This also happens when Ash tells Torkoal to dodge Cacnea's Needle Arm. (00:07:52 - 00:19:02)
Other mistake: During the Pokérap, when the Poliwrath name is said, the Pokémon shown is actually Poliwag. Also, when the Graveler name is said, the Pokémon shown is actually Geodude.
Trivia: During the Pokérap that appears after some episodes, nearly all of the Pokémon shown are the actual creatures, but Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Rhydon, Zapdos, and Kabutops that are shown are machines from Pokémon Island. Also, when Kabuto is shown, it isn't actually a Kabuto but Bill in Kabuto's costume.
