Clara: I was a harlot.
Darvell: But that is in the past.
Savella: Some things are eternal.
Werner: You were to find a man on of good blood who appreciates this brotherhood and what we do.
Clara: What is it you do?
Savella: We are the pointed nails of justice.
Darvell: Only those prepared to die will find eternal life.
Ian Curtis: Existence. Well, what does it matter? I exist on the best terms I can. The past is now part of my future. The present is well out of hand.
Ian Curtis: I don't want to be in the band anymore. Unknown Pleasures was it. I was happy. I never meant for it to grow like this. When I'm up there, singing they don't understand how much I give and how it affects me. Now they want more. They expect me to give more. And I don't know if I can. It's like it's not happening to me, but... someone pretending to be me, someone dressed in my skin. Now we're going to America. I have no control anymore. I don't know what to do.
Ian Curtis: When you look at your life, in a strange new room, maybe drowning soon, is this the start of it all?
Ian Curtis: Side effects include: drowsiness, apathy, and blurred vision... I'm taking two.
Annik Honore: Ian.
Ian Curtis: Hmm?
Annik Honore: I'm a little scared.
Ian Curtis: Scared of what?
Annik Honore: Scared of falling in love with you.
Milo: If I'm having an imaginary conversation, I'd at least hope for something a bit more fucking exciting.
Milo: The storyteller was so used to his fantasies that no matter how good his reality was, it was never enough. Would never be enough.
Stevo: FYI your breath stinks of shit and you have a serious case of BO.
Mrs. Bennet: I consider dancing to be the first refinement of polished society. Don't you agree, Mr. Darcy?
Mr. Darcy: No, every savage can dance. Why, I imagine that even zombies can do it to some degree of success.
Mr. Darcy: A newly infected zombie is almost impossible to detect. Until they've ingested their first human brains, at which point the transformation accelerates with every subsequent kill.
Mr. Darcy: A woman must have a thorough knowledge of music, singing, drawing, dancing, and the modern languages. She must be well-trained in the fighting styles of the Kyoto masters, and weapons and tactics of modern Europe.
