Corrected entry: When Jennifer Connelly is in the bar chatting with Tom Cruise for the first time, the iconic song "Let's Dance" from David Bowie is playing in the background. Connelly and Bowie had starred together in the film "Labyrinth" in 1986, and featured a similar upbeat song called "Magic Dance." A subtle reference, perhaps?

The Shape of Water (2017)
Corrected entry: Michael Shannon is interrogating the custodial staff Octavia Spencer and Elisa Esposito in his office regarding the missing amphibian man. He makes a very rude snide nasty comment saying "I don't know why I am asking the help." This is a reference to Octavia Spencer's role as a maid in the movie The Help.
Correction: Or he's just saying "the help" because that's what they are. Far too tenuous a connection.

Corrected entry: Theresa Burke is looking through an album of the realty clients at her new job. She sees her husband's Ethan Burke's profile page. It says Dependants: 1. It should say Dependents: 1.
Correction: Dependant is a variant spelling, but both spellings are acceptable.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009)
Corrected entry: They deliberately prohibited the use of red until the Volterra Bella running scene, since the red signified blood and danger and was such an important part of the movie. (Audio commentary.)
Correction: Not true. Red is visible on the cover of Bella's copy of Romeo and Juliet, and she also has a red blanket on her bed when Edward comes into her room near the beginning of the movie.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011)
Corrected entry: Even though Edward is in Brazil and on Esme's island during the honeymoon scenes, he is not sparkling, which the vampires are supposed to do in sunlight. This is also noticeable during the daytime scenes when he is playing chess and is swimming with Bella in the waterfall/river.
Correction: Actually, when they are playing chess, the sun is not out. He does sparkle once, when they are about to jump from the top of the water fall. You can briefly see his shoulder sparkle for a little bit.

Correction: While it wouldn't surprise me if the David Bowie song being in the film is a reference to the fact that Connelly was in "Labyrinth" with him... I feel like it should be pointed out that "Let's Dance" is not from "Labyrinth." You're getting it confused with "Magic Dance," which was the song in "Labyrinth." (Albeit both are similar, upbeat tunes.) "Let's Dance" was released in 1983, whereas "Labyrinth" (and "Magic Dance") came out in 1986. I'll submit a word-change.
