Continuity mistake: After Kathy is taken away, Matthews and Gracie are together, surrounded by a crowd and police/fire vehicles. His face, and the back and front of his clothing are covered in black smudges. As soon as she asks, "So, how does it feel?" in these shots all the smudges on his face and clothing are different. Revealing mistake: When Gracie throws the crown up towards the Liberty prop, it does not fly normally. It's very obvious that it's a CG crown leaving her hand and flying through the air. Especially enjoyable if it's seen frame by frame. (01:39:55)

Revealing mistake: While alone with Gracie, Kathy says, "I've been fighting all my life against your type..." She then says, "Intellectuals...ugly women..." and Kathy's hair is noticeably longer at her shoulders than it was in all the previous shots. Gracie's left braid with red ribbon that sticks straight out differ between these shots too. Obviously this was shot in pickups. (00:55:55)

Continuity mistake: Kathy and the rest discuss Gracie's gun/cigarette man incident. In the wide shots and in the close-ups of Stan, Kathy and Gracie individually, items on the glass table, items on Kathy's desk, the easel near the pink flowers, and the short and tall lamps, change positions between these shots. Continuity mistake: While planning their operation, Matthews' watch can be seen as he says, "We've got only 48 hours," and the time reads 1:50. When Clonsky says, "That means we're gonna need all kids of surveillance," Matthews' watch reads 3:45. When Matthews says, "Yeah, yeah. Now I'm thinking," his watch reads 3:00. (00:16:00)

Revealing mistake: The shot from inside the bus showing the grounds outside of the hotel, including people, cars, flower planters, etc. differs from the next shot outside the bus as it pulls away. Also, when Gracie and Vic stand near the taxi, when Gracie boards the bus and when she is on the bus, many of the same extras walking around outside do repetitive or even contradictory actions in these shots. Revealing mistake: At the pageant, Cheryl performs with the flaming batons and she tosses a baton into the air. Cheryl's reflection is seen on the stage floor but the baton's is not because she really tosses nothing, this particular baton is entirely CG. Also, in some shots when her reflection and the reflections of bulbs, etc, is seen on the stage floor, the reflections of the flames are not. The flames were real in some shots and digitally augmented in others. (01:26:55)

Continuity mistake: Just after agent Grant is shot, there is a shot of Ivan and the blonde Russian at the back bar shooting at McDonald and his men. In the second shot McDonald and Clonsky crouch down at the table near the front door and are shooting at the Russians . In the third shot McDonald is still seen crouching and shooting at the Russians, but he's now crouching at the back bar and the Russians are now at the kitchen doorway. Obviously this was edited from a longer sequence. (00:06:00)

Continuity mistake: McDonald and his men burst into the restaurant and Gracie holds her gun out in front of her with both hands aimed at Krashow, Ivan and the rest. In the first shot her braids are in front of her shoulders, second shot behind her shoulders, next few shots in front, then yet again behind her shoulders, and then another shot with one braid in front. Revealing mistake: Gracie hugs the Russian waitress in order to have a better view of the disc hand-off appear on the monitor. As she raises her left hand that holds the book/camera lens, we see that the digital feed that appears on the monitor stays steady and level, even though she is raising the book/camera lens higher and closer to her face. Obviously the feed that we see on the monitor is not taken from the book/camera lens. (00:04:10)

Continuity mistake: The agents burst into Laika Restaurant wet from the rain outside. There is a difference in how wet they are, specifically McDonald, in the wide shots, semi close-ups and close-ups. McDonald's left sleeve also changes position between the semi close-ups and wide shots. (00:04:40)

Continuity mistake: In the wide shot as Victor is boarding the airplane, he answers Matthews' question and the suitcase Vic holds in his left hand has a flap with two straps and buckles on the side facing out. In the subsequent close-up the suitcase is reversed, the flap with two straps and buckles are now facing his leg. (01:25:40)

Trivia: On the commentary, the director and screenwriter both say that not only are Vic's and Gracie's rooms numbered 103, but the agents' surveillance room is also numbered 103. Yet when Gracie unlocks the door to the surveillance room, after beer and pizza at the club, we see that the room number is 106, not 103, as claimed on the commentary. (01:12:00)

Revealing mistake: When Vic and Gracie are inside St. Regis Hotel's Restaurant Lespinasse, there are windows in which the view outside can be seen. The street traffic seen through the window is obviously not Manhattan and the cars are heading the wrong way down E. 55th St. The exterior of the real restaurant is seen when Vic tries to teach Gracie how to glide. The interior shots are filmed at another restaurant in Austin. (00:25:35)

Audio problem: As the contestants walk off stage in their swimsuits during the pageant, we hear the choreographer, Scott Grossman, say to some of them, "Good job. Good job." However, it's obvious that his mouth is not actually saying those words. (01:26:00)

Audio problem: While describing Miss Rhode Island during the Top 5, Kathy continues to say, "with a minor in elementary particles" however when Kathy can be seen on the live feed of the jumbo-tron onstage, she is just smiling and not saying those words. (01:32:20)
