Visible crew/equipment: While Lucy and Ricky are lying in the sagging mattress "canoe", when the train passes and their bed rolls towards the bunk bed, the end of the set wall is visible at the right side of the screen. (00:17:30)

Revealing mistake: After the cheese sandwich experience at Skinner's diner, when Lucy takes the wheel and they all drive off heading to Cincinnati, the Pontiac's glass windshield and rearview mirror are gone, and they're gone again when they end up back at that diner the second time. Continuity mistake: When Ricky stops the car and backs up trying to locate Aunt Sally's, Lucy gets out of the car wearing a coat and a pantsuit underneath, but in the exterior shot she's wearing a skirt set when she walks over to the shed to read the sign. (00:03:50)

Revealing mistake: The Pontiac's glass windshield is gone when the car is loaded down with everyone's stuff, thanks to Fred's packing, and the windshield is also very noticeably gone when they all finally drive off. The rearview mirror, which should be attached to the windshield frame, is gone as well. (00:20:30 - 00:22:50)

Visible crew/equipment: When they're all finally in the Pontiac ready to leave NYC, just as Ricky starts to drive away we can see cables jiggling under the Pontiac, to the left of the front tire, pulling the car. Funny to see how Ricky puts his hand on the gear stick, but never actually does anything with it. (00:23:40)

Visible crew/equipment: When "Mickey" takes his mother-in-law's suitcases to the back, just as Lucy and her mother sit down on the couch, we can see the bright shadow of something moving across the piano behind them. (00:06:50)

Continuity mistake: After Fred secures the chain lock to the front door, with the chain mounted onto the frame of the door, Fred then slides the chain into the door's slide-catch to show Lucy the "burglarproof chain." When Ethel opens the door the chain itself is ripped off the frame, leaving the chain (and the piece that was screwed to the frame) dangling from the slide-catch attached to the door, but in Ethel's closeup the chain is still mounted to the door's frame. Visible crew/equipment: When Lucy and Mrs. Littlefield bring out the soup and then salad, at the start of the shots just as they leave the kitchen, the shadow of another camera can be seen on the edge of the set's "wall" at the right side of the screen. (00:20:25)

Visible crew/equipment: After Lucy and Mr. Beecher sign the lease, just as they all start heading toward the door, the taped T-mark is visible at the bottom of the screen at the edge of the carpet (presumably for the second camera dolly offscreen at the left). Then as Mrs. Hammond walks out, a bit of overhead set equipment can be seen at the top right side of the screen. (00:12:45)

Continuity mistake: When Fred and Ethel leave to get the rollaway bed, note the two L-shape actor's marks on the carpet where Ernie had placed his small suitcase and then sat, earlier in the scene. (00:08:50)

Visible crew/equipment: While Ricky and Fred are trying to clean up the volcanic rice eruption, when Ricky slips on the floor the second time the front edge of the raised kitchen set's platform can be seen. (00:19:15)

Visible crew/equipment: During the scenes at the small diner when it's open for business, such as when Marco walks in, there are two small chalk T-marks on the floor in the area near the door. The T-marks are also visible when Ethel and Fred walk back inside. (00:12:35)

Visible crew/equipment: During the scenes in the living room after wig-wearing Lucy comes home in a huff about Ricky, an actor's mark is visible on the carpet at the fireplace, and there's a T-mark on the carpet between the couch and desk.

Other mistake: When Ricky and Fred hold up the newspapers with the big holes in the back page, we see the front page with the headline "Bond Issue Defeated", and it should look familiar since it's the same front page that was used in the episode "Ricky's Old Girlfriend", with the article about Carlotta Romero. Visible crew/equipment: When Lucy tells Ricky, Fred, and Ethel that she made a carbon copy of the novel they just burned in the fireplace, the actors' tape marks are visible on the carpet when Lucy says, "Pardon me," in the wideshot. Then later, when Ricky, Fred, and Ethel walk in while Lucy's typing up her sequel, they stand at tape marks again. (00:11:05)

Continuity mistake: When Martians Lucy and Ethel are sneaking up behind everyone on the Empire State Building, in the closeup Ethel has a toy gun tucked into her belt just as she climbs over the fence, but in the next wideshot her toy gun is already lying on the observation deck floor. (00:17:25)
