Visible crew/equipment: When Cledus tells Bandit that he knows there's $400,000 at stake, but he won't kill an elephant to get it, in the next shot and in following shots from the same angle, the reflection of the moving boom pole and mic can be seen on the surface of the Trans Am.

Visible crew/equipment: While Snowman drives his rig, in his side shots as he faces the wing mirror the reflection of the camera can be seen on his sunglasses. One example is when he gets on the CB and hails Bandit to warn him about Smokey at his back door.

Continuity mistake: When Sheriff Justice has caused the roller coaster frame to collapse his car's left front hubcap is gone, but soon reappears. Then during the "game of chicken" between the semi-trailers and police cars, his car's left back hubcap is gone, but reappears just before Justice thinks about retiring.

Continuity mistake: At the Gator Motel, after Cledus and Bandit get part of the money, when Bandit starts crying about Frog and blows his nose into the money, there is a side shot showing a wad of bills in Bandit's shirt pocket before he actually puts the bills into his pocket in a following shot.
