Continuity mistake: After Gage has been killed and Jud Crandall comes into the kitchen to comfort Louis, Louis is sitting at the kitchen table, and Jud goes to sit down on a chair that is tucked up to the table. In the immediate next shot, Jud sits down without pulling the chair away from the table.
